Drain from the plug before removing the old oil filter to make less of a mess. Change the crush washer every time. Use a Honda oil filter (you own a Honda because of the quality, right?).
What's that oil filter wrench? I've tried many and they all suck. I'm talking about the one in the video that she is using, not the one in the link in the description.

Sue, you're my hero. I love your videos, very clear and helpful. Thank you for what you do.
Ms. Sue does it right most shops wanna dump the full 5 quarts in it even though capacitt is 4.6 in my older ody
Love your videos.
Very detailed ones. 👍👍👍👍
Did you reuse the oil drain crush washer? I thought you were supposed to change that each time
We flip them few times and then get a new one.

It is very helpful thank you!
Great job
Jack points on odyssey are tricky
Never reuse a crush washer. You will get oil leaks at the plug even after overtightening the plug. Crush washer cost like 50 cents each or less.
What's the capacity 4.5 quaters?
+Diego mdmdmd Thanks for watching! We a new oil filter installed like Sue showed you, this vehicle takes 4.5 quarts of oil.
Fram filters are the worst in independent test. Use a Wix or OEM Honda
Worse oil filter in the known universe!! 🤦♂️
Yeah I am sure this van is junked now. Fram filters on a $40.000 vehicle. No thanks.
Guess what? Fram made Honda filters with Honda stamping. Now Honeywell makes them because they bought Fram. Now what?
