    Thank you ladies so much for this wonderful recipe. I made stovetop steel cut oats just once with the.carton recipe and it such a failure/undercooked that I never attempted to again.
    These are so tender, nutty and full of flavor that I no longer want my morning eggs which I had to cut out in my diet.
    Next I will try Granny Smiths though Honey Crisps are great. Gala's good but no tang.
    I add 1.5 tlbs of Chia seeds for added nutrients. The texture complements the oats but does demonish some of that nutty flavor.
    When using cinnamon you ought to try Vietnamese cinnamom as it is naturally much sweeter with no bitterness like the others ( it is also far cheaper at Amazon Worldwide Botanicals organic by the pound) Im a cinnamon lover who adds a tbls to our morning coffee grounds. It actually lowers my anxiety too.

    Made these oats this week with a couple of Granny Smith apples. These are the best oats I’ve ever had! I add little bit of pecans and it’s my favorite breakfast. Thank you so much for great recipes!

    As a single father you saved me. Thank you so much! One question please how many days can I have it in the fridge?

      Awesome! You can refrigerate for 3 to 5 days in an airtight container.

    LOL close the valve! This week my husband just couldn’t wait for me and made his own steel cut oats… he forgot to close the valve, when I got up, greeted me with “I made a mess!” Ha ha…

    You two have to be Utahns 😊.
    And thanks for the vids! I just got an Instapot and I’m (half serious, half kidding) slightly afraid of it. Your videos are helping for sure

      @@PressureCookingToday Me too! I don’t know why but it’s so easy to spot fellow Utahns on RUclips. Cracks me up
      But anyway, the videos are a huuuge help! I thought I would use this thing for very specific cases but it’s become just a regular appliance. Easier getting food on the table with busy and varying schedules

    Try replacing one cup of the water with one cup
    of apple cider. It really increases the "Appleness"

    Can you go half water half milk?

    • @PressureCookingToday
      @PressureCookingToday  Год назад +1

      You can try it, sometimes milk will curdle, but I have done it with rice pudding successfully.

      I came to ask if this could be done with just milk, so definitely NOT with only milk?
