Ich bin ein Schwede, aber mein Großvater war ein Deutscher von Danzig. Als er nur sechs Jahre alt war, floh er in 1940 mit seiner Familie nach Schweden. Da traf er eine liebliche Norwegerin und hat meines Vaters Abstammung gemacht. Ich bin stolz, dass ich germanisches Blut von vielen verschiedenen Völkern habe. Doktor, ich danke Sie für die Musik Sie hochladen, es macht mich sehr froh.
I don't know why, but something about this is so melancholy. The feeling it gives off is that this old society and its peoples with all its traditions is gone. It's like making a rendition of a long gone civilizations statements and art. Bismarck could never see what the future held for Germany. No one could.
Trust me, no one would've forseen that beast and his atrocities, and what's worse, people allowing his sick ideas. But times are different now, there's nothing we can do to change the past, and we've look to the future, but it's time to heal old scars, and I really hope that one day Prussia's heritage will be valued not only by Poland but for Germans themselves :D

Just stunning & so evocative of bustling German Christmas Markets on a really cold and wintery day. The smells, the noises, the singing and the lovely shining pristine gifts. In parts it is almost “other worldly” and takes us to a better, more heavenly place, a place where West Prussia still exists and lives on, not just as a distant memory but as a real place. I just love it!
This sounds like something of which should be heard in a large cathedral! Sounds as it it is of another world and time! It's a beautiful statement that needs no words!🎼🎵👌❤️👍🇩🇪❗
West Prussia belonged to the King of Poland since 1466, but wasn't a part of the Polish Crown untill the Union of Lublin in 1569, though that union was technically illegal, since there were no Prussian representatives allowed (nor, for that matter, was there anyone representing Lithuania, Auschwitz and Zator, which were also annexed there). But even with the under that union Royal Prussia was still largely independent, for example the Vistula tripple border toll (taken in Thorn (Toruń), Kulm (Chełmno) and my native Schwetz (Świecie)) remained in place.
Parts of poland were a part of magna germania, a place stretching from the Rhine to the Vistula and were populated by Germanic tribes before Slavs go westwards👍
My Mother's Side of the family comes from Prussian Origins, but my Great-Great-Great Grandfather fought in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870-1871, then he moved to America in Charleston, South Carolina And made a successful Business There for Carts and Buggies, He died on December 20th, 1920 at his 70's, He was Born on Febuary 24th, 1848, same month as I. We should respect our ancestors, not crush them for our future. Fur das Prussenland. Long live Prussia.

Even if those buildings are reconstructions at least they look classically European instead of some modern, brutalist, homogenous gray matter building made out of walls of concreate, steel, and glass.
