I initially agreed with this, especially with how the video is presented (“become his obsession”) but I don’t think it’s like that at all, actually! We all want to be loved for our true selves, but the way we want to be approached romantically (taking the time to build chemistry, not over explaining or dumping your entire personality on someone immediately, picking up on cues and communicating subtly) are all things women (at least me) want from men as well. I think this video can be applied unhealthily, but if you watch like a “female gaze” video about how we wish men would approach us its kind of the same thing. People want romance and the slow burn and love that unfolds as you get to know each other more and more and this is how you get it.

    So her magic formula is:
☑️ Initiating and holding eye contact
☑️ expert level at “slow burn” relationships - aka she takes her time to talk to the men and not reveal too much so she is mysterious with it so they long for more
☑️ talks little but is 100% honest when she does
☑️ good posture and feminine aura
☑️ never chases, but initiates first move on a guy

In Robert Greene’s book “Art of Seduction” he talks about how seducing someone is not the same as having a happy and fulfilling partnership with them. I think it’s an important distinction to make. Marilyn Monroe is often referenced because she is what Greene calls a “siren” seduction type, but remember she was severely depressed and died from a drug overdose. Her image was an illusion. If you attract a man with a facade, he will fall out of love once he sees your truth. These videos are helpful to learn about attraction psychology, but don’t turn to them for advice on how to KEEP love.

Having a loud presence with a quiet demeanor is key. Doing this by having intention behind what you do with your hair, make up, and style. Being expressive on the outside is enough to draw people to you, and make others want to initiate more. This is a great tool, especially if you are naturally shy.

@mya6506 that's true cuz that happened to me in high school. A girl I never even met was talking about me negatively. Until people actually get to talk to me, then I get told I'm nice. Smiling a lot and just being a happy person prevents that perception from others.

long (sorry i got carried away)
I think her appeal to the men in simple terms was because she was well put together and didnt do too much. She literally looks like a prize. All the other girls were drop dead gorgeous but she stood out because she just shined. Everyone else was dressed more plainly/basic but Jia stood out because her personality was shown on the outside. A lot of people are very visual this is why you see folks who totally embody & master a certain aesthetic or their personal style become really popular.
at the end of the day looks are the most important thing sadly. i think if you struggle with this type of look or the mysterious "it girl" apperance/appeal that Jia has then maybe try other looks that fit you better. It might be harmful to your mental health and emotional growth if you try to force this kind of mysterious demenaor. If you are more loud and outgoing then lean into that and just be you because trust me a LOT of men like that as well. Majority of the tips in the video can/will still apply even if you change up the aesthetic and base level demeanor to fit YOU. You dont HAVE to be just like Jia. Some popular "aesthetics" and personality types that draw a lot of male attention are like femme fatale, earth angel fairy, soft girl, goth, baddie ... there is a lot. Show your personality and demeanor through your physical appereance, clothes, and attitude let the suitors come to you. Tbh just know yourself and showcase it the BEST.

Girl be yourself. Yes, you may try seducing or acting the siren for fun, but when it comes to long term commitment, you have to be with someone who loves your true personality not some mysterious facade. I also had the same problem, being a bit goofy and loud sometimes, and wasn't able to seduce anyone ever, but I found a guy, now my husband, who is exactly as I am, and we're having so much fun together. Just be yourself, and who will love you, you'll know that they love for who you trully are

Jia is something else. She is stunning, of course but I gotta agree with you that she has this sweet yet mysterious(?) aura that men would like to know her better. But her selling point is gotta be the eye contact, like if someone holds their gazes you know that they are being attentive and listens to you. She is the embodiment of men's fantasies!! :D

  • @Akiss
    @Akiss Год назад +42

As someone not attracted to Jia, there's still a noticeable charisma to her vibe, and it's fascinating. There's a lot of subtleties with combining confidence and femininity.
Her posture is big--she not only keeps her back very straight, but she keeps her frame small at the same time, often bringing her elbows into the sides or making her shoulders look more petite.
Softness in demeanor: Her actions are bold (initiating contact, conversion, keeping eye contact) but does so with quietness. All her motions are slow, which oozes confidence but also femininity. How she blinks, preens herself, it's all done so relaxed, and it's hard to do that unless it's natural to you.
Chattiness: Guys don't just like to chase, they also don't like girls rambling about stuff at length. She's very economical with what she speaks, so it's attractive, not just because it's "hard to get." She talks just enough so that guys feel connected with her, yet still wanting more. Really hard balance to strike.

i love jia and her mindset and we cant deny that it was one of the main reasons so many guys were attracted to her from the beginning, but we also cant forget that pretty privilege exists, shes extremely pretty with an even prettier mindset, no one would look her way if she had that same mindset but lacked appearance wise, which is why i feel like even if i do end up completely maintaining the same mindset as her (which im working on) it wont be the same, i’m not as beautiful as her

I became friends with her and sometimes guys from other class would ask us for her number and even I can't hold eye contact with her. 😭😭 She's also very hard to get/untouchable. I agree with your point of view and Jia is a perfect example of a subtly confident and feminine lady. There are just a few things, I´d like to point out:
First, believe me, you don´t want your partner to be obsessed with you. Obsession is a negative emotion and leads to toxic relationships. Your partner gets jealous of the most minor interactions you have with other people because he/she wants you to spend time only with him/her and best 24/7. Believe me, at this point it´s better to be alone than in a toxic relationship with an obsessed partner.
Second, make sure to not only attract a partner but to feel attracted to him/her, too. Otherwise, you might have a bunch of men/women falling for and proposing to you, even though you never even considered them as potential partners. Of course, we can´t always avoid this kind of situation, but believe me, if you are a genuine and honest person, rejecting someone will hurt you much more than being rejected.
And lastly, be yourself. I know, it´s easier said than done, especially since we live in a judgemental society, but acting and pretending to be someone you don´t are, is not what you really want. In the end, we want our partners to fall for our true selves and not for the mask we created by some standards. But remember to be careful whoever you decide to show your real face. Not everyone deserves to see it.

I've never seen this show, but can agree with everyone else Jia is so very beautiful and alluring. From what I've learned about "feminine energy" is that you allow yourself to feel your emotions very deeply and sit with them. Men really feel your vibe whether it's good or bad and they respond to that. If a guy you like cracks you up, smile and laugh coyly, and feel it deep inside you without saying "You're so cute," but just feel it. They pick up on it and you end up being a little more mysterious because they don't know if they've won you over yet. It's not about being aloof, but not revealing all of your cards. 😊😊

Sounds to me like the main perspective of this video is that being in control is the right thing to do. Ideally it might be the case, but in practice relationships and bonding with someone requires a loss of control and an imbalance. Two parties having balanced control of themselves will simply form a transactional relationship or a sexual friendship. At some point someone has to give away control to pair-bond, and that always carries a risk of being hurt. My take is that Ji-A wasn't planning to date or looking to "lose control", but was there mainly as a self-promotion strategy.

don't forget the main thing society and men need in order to be attracted to you: be pretty, quiet, confident and overall not yourself~!
also not everyone is able to have a personality like hers, to narrow things down to these points feels a little disheartening. yes some things like posture, eye contact ect isn't too hard, but also her honesty and kindness all the time, not everyone has that. not everyone has a perfect smile, sweet personality and all. yes you can get men interested, but that isn't the real you.
for me, i'm loud and when someone asks me about something i like i go on a whole rant and personally i forget to be quiet and nice, i have a rather sarcastic tone a lot of the time and i am pretty flirty with everyone and with people i really love, i'm a really caring person. do people like it? not all the time no, but is that who i am? yes. of course i want others to like me more and if this works then yeah! but losing yourself because you want to be like some girl on a tv show? it's just gonna hurt you more. not all of us are a perfect and pretty like her, so don't do this.
i might just be an asshole, but god it pisses me off how she seems so perfect without a flaw and men *do* like that, but in the end it just makes everyone else seem like some insignificant, ugly inconvenience with a terrible personality and an even worse look to them.
this video is helpful, but don't forget someone should love you because of *you* and not because of these specific things!!!

honestly if I had to treat dating like a game I just wont date. my longest relationships lasting a few years were one's were I was comfortable and was being myself. I don't want heaps of people chasing or for me to chase, just let it happen naturally.

I've found that even though I can be crass, such as eating with abandon until I'm stuffed, chugging my beer out of a bottle, laughing, joking, sharing my nerdiness and awkwardness, attracts men. Men relax and are able to also be themselves. Both putting on this mask is so exhausting! Love some of these tips, maybe use them to get someones attention. Or to be used in certain social situations. And some women love being fantasies, it's what they strive for, so these tips definitely can be of use. But at the end of the day, most of us want to end up with someone we can be comfortable with. Great video and breakdown of Jia's mannerisms. This video can certainly be helpful for anyone looking to be more feminine.

Bro you got me at eye contact 😭😭😭 i cant hold eye contact worth shit when i like the other person and it sucks cause i feel like that tells them im not into them but I REALLY AM THO 😭😭😭.
