Andre Ward was/is tremendously technically skilled in boxing. Remember watching him fight where he had his lead hand a few inches in front of the left side of his chin and his right hand to the right side of his chin and he would punch, pivot, slip, Bob, and weave without ever deviating his basic guard position!!!
