I only play career mode. I won’t lie, I find the new layout annoying but the most fustrating part is not gettin notifications regarding transfers even tho I have my setting at ‘stop for all’ 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah I also hate the new layout, they tried to over simplify it and it’s just made it harder to navigate, in ultimate team it’s fine because you don’t need to change that much in different tabs but in career mode I’m checking 10 different tabs after each game and it takes so much longer than in fc24

I had this issue on deadline day and missed out on players. Ea has stop sim turned off for emails. You need to turn it in yourself for emails and this will stop this from happening. Very annoying they did this as you wouldn't know until you've missed out on transfers
@@lower04 I turned on every single one of those stop sim settings but it still won't stop the sim. I'm having to stop it myself and scroll to the transfer page just to check if there are offers. Thanks though...
For anybody who wants to still do a player career mode with for example Henry or Pirlo, you are able to do so if when you go to player career mode you select initial squads
The biggest problem I have run into so far is the "regarded" camera man standing at the center of the pitch in a t-pose every 4 matches that you just have to either play through or sim the entire match. Crazy that this hasn't been fixed yet.

I don’t mind the new sculpting feature. My manager doesn’t look bad in the actual creating and editing menu. But the second he shows up in a news article, on the sidelines, and press conferences, it’s a different person entirely. Like dude that is not the manager I spent about 30 minutes creating. And what is up with the hair colors? You could have bleach blonde hair and it’ll still be dark in the game.
The new layout for career mode is just stressful to use. Cannot get transfer notifications to pop up in the inbox which is frustrating, as well as they removed the squad hub for player career mode. I don’t see why they felt the need to do that. Now I can’t even tell who is on the team I play for, and a breakdown of my player states for the season.
It's not there's a lot less information now and you don't get those posts where you see the manager with his new signing holding their shirt ups and I appreciated that feature
I tried this game, played it for weeks, and now I’m back on Football Manager lol. If you want to play a real football career mode game, Football Manager is the game trust me.

I started a career there with Sevilla, and one of the objectives is to get 25 home wins this season. How the hell are you supposed to do that when you don't even play 25 games at home in a season (league wise!)

Menu’s keep glitching out, you can’t move players out of position with X, youth academy keepers have 10 diving… and field players have like 10 penalties / dribble skills.. and the referees are bigger BS than ever. I get cards for the most ridiculous things and the opponent can do whatever Club / player creation is still very limited. Kit creation didn’t even change for years
I hate how I spent an hour putting free agents into EFL league 1 & 2 only to try edit my team management and you can't change line up at all Also I offerd 2 players on loan permanent contracts they send you an email saying they love the club and are happy to sign then next minute you get an email saying the deals have fallen through

There are couple more bugs. When you signed contract with a national team, there is no place to call up the national team squad. You can not choose players that you want to call up for the squad. Also there is a bug under edit player section on manager career mode. If you want to go to the “gloves” section, and choose “none” option your player will be wearing that gloves either you chose the none. When you go the youth team scout section there is a glitch that the menu collapses and you have to quit and re-enter the career mode if you want to see the menu again..

i’ve been a career mode player for so long and i know i’m probably being nit picky but i don’t understand why EA doesn’t add club fonts so for example manchester united don’t wear the premier league name and number set in the champions league. It really bugs me as you want career mode to be as realistic as it can be and i feel it’s such a small fix that they can change. They only added one clubs font for european matches which was lyon and it’s so much better then wearing their generic league font in european matches.
Does anyone’s career mode sorta lag when doing interviews or opening the Team Management? I swear I thought it was my controller but it works fine in game but after every match it takes two or three presses to register what you want to click. As well as when trying to do Transfers it feels like there’s a lag when offering contracts or fees.
does anybody else have the ball bumping out of player's foot for no reason,like some sort of heavy touch/control but ? made me miss insane number of goals and even the double tap acceleration would also bump the ball in another direction i was using the arrows for direction,and i thought it was a bug only on arrows but with the joystick aswell it continues and then of course when you have played with arrows all your life instinctively you'll still touch it and then it messes up the tactics,this the new ea/fifa i have ever played the least in early release days because of that and i went back to football life on pc while waiting if they ever adress things like that

Why can’t they offer an rpg aspect to the managers. Each manager has a rating and abilities and you can level them up like we can do in madden.

How about the fact that the main focus was "tactics" and never before seen levels of adjusting tactics. And the they remove the ability for you to make custom formation and can rely only on their premade ones? I can't play 3-1-2-3-1 formations! THANK YOU EA
I'm on Fifa 23 atm and I like the fact you can move the shirts around the pitch for exactly the formation you want. EA dropped the ball removing that.
