Awesome how you share other peoples projects. Rotating projects good way to keep most of the people happy most of the time. Thanks for the Crosley facts, been a Crosley guy for a long time
Saw a truck at a local show here where the guy took a modern Chevy truck long bed, removed the outer sheet metal and grafted the rear quarters of a 1956 Cadillac to it. He then put that on the back of his 1956 Chevy truck.
mY '49 ford had the "Ford Float" of about 1/4 turn of the steering wheel. I wound up putting in a center takeoff steering rack from some midsize GM product. What a difference!
Wow, I was surprised to see my bakkie on your channel, so soon. Thank you boet. Some awesome builds were featured. Always inspiring to see what others are doing...Thank you for sharing.
Seeing so many cool builds in these feedback Fridays is awesome. It was also really cool to see my own Mustang in the video. Thank you Div. Continue being an inspiration to us other builders.
Yooo!!! Div, Glad to hear the winner of the poll was to keep mixing the builds 😃 I was shocked to see the shipping cost of the shims😮 92 bucks.... Holy smokes... Ive drove a few Ford trucks with the Ford Float lol enjoyed the video as always!!! I still need to send some pics of our 2 builds, just been so busy lately!!! Hope all is well Div, dont get too hot working out there!!!
Speaking of Cressleys when I was 13years old I mounted a Crossley engine in a Go-cart frame. I hand filed the flywheel to make a direct chain drive to a sprocket on a live axel. (I was just a kid, you know) what could go wrong. It worked but it was a death trap, but I stayed alive and learned PS I HAD A CUTOFF SWITCH FOR BRAKES! Take care my Brother.
Great video Div, love the viewers projects. We have the same issues with shipping here in Canada, I just paid $172. for shipping two partial A pillars for my 59 GMC. Take Care.
Good stuff brother. I like all content on this channel. We always say you can’t were out anything that makes its own grease lol . Love fords. You can always do a 911 motor to? May be pricey? I remember back in the day the old JC Whitney catalog you could order vw stuff to make her stand on her bum lol
Hey Div, Always glad to see your videos pop up in notifications. I believe you are wise to stick with the VW engine on the Renobug. It will get the misses around without being overpowered and do it economically. Not to mention the ease of installation. As I live in the middle of Kansas, I am always excited to see a fellow Jayhawker submit photos of their projects as well as all the others. We had a February Spring day yesterday with a high of 72* f. Today we will be lucky to see the high 40's before the rain, turns to snow tonight. Be Safe, Take Care
We have had some pretty weather here in East Texas . I would think you would make the shims or get them made over there that's a lot of extra money added on.
Greetings Div, as always another great program. Really enjoy watching your builds and learning a great deal as well. Keep up the good work. Take care 👍👍👍
Those Crosleys were made the size they were so Mr Crosley could fit them thru the doors of his appliance stores. How's that for an largley unknown factoid?
Thanks again Div I really enjoy seeing all the viewers projects. I also am alternating between two builds, my drivable 39chevy sedan 4x4 rat rod and my 60 vw bug 4x4 rat rod. I enjoy your videos no matter which one you're working on. Thanks my Brother 👍
Wow on the shipping Div, crazy price. Maybe lengthen the upper arms or use a turnbuckle in them? I know you can easily come up with something like that.
Great show today I really enjoyed seeing everyone’s projects! Thanks for what you do for the rat rod community! Yeah I know you can make those shims for the Renobug I’ll be looking forward to seeing that video too Have a lekka one brother 😎
Wauuu, that Studebaker truck is a great looking one, never saw one of these. İt's great to see that projects around the globe and getting the feeling "I am not alone". Thanks for the video Div.
As always. Friday Fix time. Some awesome builds in the international community contributions. Every week I find myself inspired. After building the Rezin Rockit I now really want to do a body swap. Need to move two of my cars out to make some space.
If you want a little more power a amr500 supercharger off of a Japanese kei car is usually a very reasonably priced supercharger, and it's well supported in the air cooled vw world.
Divieeee, if you get your hands on a Harley engine, build a HotRod bike !! Not a doddle buggy lol. Don’t get me wrong, I love VDubbs but Harley engine would be hard for you to come by being where you are.
Kaiser Frazer also made slab side cars at the same time. Ie. Kaiser Manhattan and the Frazer. In 1946. Marylyn Monroe was at the model launch in 46 when Kaiser launched the clay model with Howard “ Dutch” Darren who did a lot of the Darren bodies for Packard. In 1946 Curries Motors in Joburg imported Kaiser cars and Federal trucks into the SA. The Willy’s aero 8 and the Jeep Gladiator as all the old army guys will remember was made by Kaiser Motors. The first hatchback car was the 49 Kaiser Traveller. The first SUV was the Civilian Jeep done by Kaiser Motors. They bought Willy’s Motors after the war. Thx for the best rats cars ever. Ronald van der Westhuizen. Die ockies kan nie die vd W uit hulle monde kry nie.
I feel your pain Div, over here in the Philippines shipping and customs are a complete rip off. To make it worse everything just about has to be ordered in because even fairly common stuff isn't stocked. No one has much money over here so they don't want to tie up capital in parts that may have to sit awhile on the shelf. If it can't be flipped for a quick profit they aren't interested. 😢😮
Divieeee, thx for sharing everyone’s projects man. That’s very cool of you to share the Thunder. lol I have a 1957 Chevy 150 in the making. I’ll send some pictures of her one day. I’ve put things away for now as I’ve retired, sold my house and I’m now traveling around the USA following the sunshine, until I figure out what I want to be when I grow up. 😅😂👍🏻✌🏻🤠 Oh and also, did the 57 truck owner say her hubby is Terry Bradshaw ? As in the Great Quarterback NFL star NFL commentator ? Terry Bradshaw ? 😅. If so, you guys will have a BLAST when he shows up. Hahahah. 🎊 🎉😂
I know what your saying about shipping, we are a victim of it in Australia and I take great delight in making do with what I can find or make. Shipping is a total rip off.
I have a 48 crosley convertible,im using a 303 olds,t5 5spd trans ,narrowed rear ,chrome drop straight axle, frt axle will be suicide style in front of grill.
Oom probeer Beetle Museum in Bloem. Man se naam is Gerhard Ryksen en het alles van Volkswagen by hom. Oom kan se Rudolph van 9:10 Beaufort-Wes het oom verwys
I looked up the shims, but they were almost $20.00 US dollars, and when i tried to have them ship, amazon wouldn't let me ship to africa. i could have lots of other places outside of the US, but to you, Darn, amazon
Again, thanks for sharing projects on your channel. Great ides out there. Glad you will trade out projects and enjoy watching your progress.
Awesome how you share other peoples projects. Rotating projects good way to keep most of the people happy most of the time. Thanks for the Crosley facts, been a Crosley guy for a long time
It is very fun to see what cars People work whith.
If I had a choice to by a car hauler I would but yours instead of bad Chads. You are a much better fabricator.
Thanks!

At least you got something bigger than 2 stupid little shims!😂
Good stuff brother. I like all content on this channel. We always say you can’t were out anything that makes its own grease lol . Love fords. You can always do a 911 motor to? May be pricey? Any Porsche motor will be very expensive here!
Hey Div,
Always glad to see your videos pop up in notifications.

Yeah and the little air-cooled engine brings back great memories 🙂
We have had some pretty weather here in East Texas . I would think you would make the shims or get them made over there that's a lot of extra money added on.
Great video Div, lots of outstanding builds going on . Thanks for sharing them with us.
You need your own brand of coffee! “King of Rust” roast! I’m your first customer. And also a coffee cup design to go with it.
😁👍
Bad enough when your on the far side of the earth. Lol I've seen them want similar amounts and I'm in Canada only 5-6 hrs from the border. Crazy stuff
Greetings Div, as always another great program. Really enjoy watching your builds and learning a great deal as well. Keep up the good work. Take care 👍👍👍
Aloha Div, Always Fun watching your channel!! I will send pics of my first car, I still have. A 1965 Triumph Spitfire. I've had it now 51 years!
Please do!
Those Crosleys were made the size they were so Mr Crosley could fit them thru the doors of his appliance stores. How's that for an largley unknown factoid?
Very interesting!!

Awesome projects
Would you be able to get another Y Tuber, to send them over by post? for the shimes, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Our postal system is essentially defunct, thanks to the current corrupt government....
I like that you are going to alternate between the two projects. I also think keeping the VW engine is a smart move.
My 78 Goldwing project is called CASH because it has parts from 75, 76, 78, 79, and 81
😁
Hell yeah my brother

Frigging space! Always a problem 😅
Not bad ⚡️

Cheers from here 🇨🇦 Thanks for the mention.👍👍
Any time! Keep us updated
That’s insane shipping costs 😮
When you get a chance...check out the volkswagen build that use Harley Davidson motors. Interesting and sounds great. Some use fans for cooling
Yes, that's something a mate and myself have been talking about...😉
Divieeee, if you get your hands on a Harley engine, build a HotRod bike !! Not a doddle buggy lol. Don’t get me wrong, I love VDubbs but Harley engine would be hard for you to come by being where you are.
@EarlyIronAddict427 yes, not easy to find here for a reasonable price, but we are chasing something... and then definitely a rat bike!😁

You could put a flatty in it... Or a 215 Nailhead...
Porsche engine would be perfect!

We just have to improvise and be resourceful, brother!

Not just Africa Diff, to have rocker panels shipped from California to Connecticut cost $127.00 shipping! 😊
Ouch!
The other Name of the Shims is Moon Wedges in Germany 😉
That name makes sense🙂
The old JC song sort of fits, but you need to change the words to you made it one piece at a time.
