Gosh I watched scotty since that year it was during the darkest time of my life a kid not much younger then I could be so encouraging he saved me from falling into drugs and alcohol after being in a hostage situation just that sincerity energy depth really saved my life
From day one he auditioned I said to myself that you got a very nice voice and pleasant to listened to.I watched till u got lucky and won.An old lady fan of yours from East Chicago, In.,USA.
Even back then, Scotty was a “natural” on stage. Unrehearsed, he was so comfortable singing w/ Josh Turner at only 17 years old! Thanks for posting this video, because Slow Black Train was never shown to the rest of us on American Idol Homecoming, nor have I seen it on any other RUclips postings. Two Carolinas boys! They’re both amazing! Scotty so easily enteracted w/ audience. I really enjoyed this. He has grown into a real professional at only 18. I hope to enjoy watching him grow even more.
