  • Autsim/Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a relatively new concept for me only being diagnosed when i was 32. This is the start of my Journey into understanding Autism / Autistic Spectrum Disorder for myself. Carefully looking at each aspect of my life and trying to understand more about it and maybe gain some understanding.
My Journey is personal but I will hope fully get friends and family along with me so we can do it together.
My aim is to understand my conditions and maybe in doing so may be able to help others...
The ultimate goal tho is for myself first and foremost (hope that doesnt sound too selfish, i dont mean it to be).
If you would be so kind as to think about subscribing to me on here and checking me out on twitch.tv I would be so grateful. I am trying my best to make the content more regular.

Know that you aren't alone Neil. I hate being in this kind of mood but always remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel, it won't last forever. Hugs x

Thanks for being so honest and real❤️ I’ve been struggling similarly lately. So much going on, it gets insanely overwhelming. This condition can be debilitating at times. It can feel like a never ending cycle/circle at times. I hope you find support & get back to feeling better soon.

You will have to try and transfer the support you receive into strength inside your mind. People can and will support you but it is only you that is able to turn your negative thoughts into positives thoughts and actions. It is a battle you have to do within your own mind and win

@@AspieNeil just be kind to yourself and do the things you think that will help you . It is extra difficult for you with ASD, my daughter who is 22 has Aspergers and she suffers with bouts of depression too. Hope you get some improvement in your mood soon Neil , take care of yourself x

I get what you mean dude...like over the course of four years I’ve gone into dark places and it takes me a hell of a long time to get out of that deep hole. I also have intrusive thoughts and some are dark and others are not too bad. I understand how these thoughts sorta get overwhelming and take over your head. What your feeling is absolutely normal being on the autism spectrum. How you mask is very draining...I do the exact same at work...which is ironic because there the NAS but I feel like I can’t be autistic at work or in public because people have a lack of understanding in that area...not because they don’t want to...like I’m 100% sure that your fiancé and your mum love and care for you very much...like but I understand that sometimes you feel like you can’t be your true self...not because they won’t accept but you don’t want to add weight to their situation. I get that all the time Neil...I know through and through how your struggling...it’s very overwhelming and very confusing but just know that you will reach the end of that tunnel...with support and care from people that love you for you. I also know that the people that love you wouldn’t want you to be uncomfortable so sometimes maybe try and draft what you want to say before you say it and then you might feel a little more comfortable because you know what to say. I’m here for ya dude! Take each day step by step. 🥰🙌🏻
