Another great video. Reminds me of my days sawing on the carriage. Did have a Forano automatic carriage at one point. Long since retired now. To fill the need of still wanting to saw we have a Laimet, packaged rotary mill made in Finland. It’s just a hobby now.

Some viewers say I post too many videos and they can’t keep up with all of them

@TheWildWestMill tell them to sneak into the bathroom at work and watch them if they have to. Sawmilling is important.

What is legging? Are you guys working 7 days a week? Thank you for sharing! Dan

No sir just 5 days a week Monday to Friday. So legging is 8 10 12 14 feet long. They take i beam stand them up in the ground. 4 6 or 8 inch i beam and the 4x Random width or 6x6 or 8x8. Stack on top of each other in between the i beams like a wall. Then they backfill stone rock or dirt for bridge building or construction. Then they bury it and it rots in the ground. And we sell and make. A lot of it

@@DanielParadis-sr5nh 6x6 can be cut at the trimsaw but 8x8s have to be chainsawed to length so the the trimsaw guys will be working hard especially if I get a bunch of bigger logs in a row getting an 8x8 every time
