I have a 09 Silverado 2500 with a 6.0. Rebuilt with tsp stage 1 truck cam. New water pump pully dual spring push rods long tube headers tuned and is sounds pretty loud. I have to turn the ac off so it can really chop nice. I haven’t dynoed yet so I’m sure it should make the same horse power as yours.
Higher lift cam would make more power, but it’s still good power for a 5.3 turning all that heavy drivetrain and wheels/tires. Nice truck man. I’m wanna do something similar with my next truck. It’ll probably be substantially louder than yours though lol

So what was the problem with the ticking noise you had earlier? Was it the lifters?
