Everyone knows that Jungkook is company's golden boy, so he will always get the better treatment than the others for sure. The over the top dressing I think is by design 😆 I believe it is a referred to David Bowie, or a movie he was in, or a character in the movie he was in, or the story of that movie. Often the band that actually makes the music is left in a side note, although they deserve much more attention. I've played in many bands and know how important each member is.
V's soulful and deep voice is his natural voice. He also knows how to potentialize it; he is an artist who expresses what he feels about a song and it infects you. He is known for his natural duality on stage, you can see him being tender, playing and having fun with his partners on stage and a second later he becomes the most sensual and seductive: one look, he moistens his lips with his tongue, a wonderful pose... It's wonderful to see him.
He’ll preform the song in Tiny Desk so I believe we are getting the live band version, V’s tracks in the new album have that “organic feeling“ for the lack of better word, but the feel of how music was like “back in the day” they have the old school type

I like insights like these that make me think, so thank you for sharing them! 💜 I learn a lot from these. There's been interviews wherein Taehyung talked about working on the album's concepts and there's this implication that it was meant to have this 'natural' feel. So you commenting on how this song is meant to be performed exactly how it was recorded makes me happy because Taehyung and his team fulfilled their point and was able to reach a new listener like yourself. ☺️ I do agree that this would sound great unplugged and would like to add that I've imagined an orchestral version of this too 🤭.

Upon my first listen, I also like "Rainy Days" more than "Love Me Again", but when I play them as background music as I work, I've found LMA to be very pleasant and soothing. Now I prefer it to RD. But I like "Slow Dancing" more than them. V will be a guest at IU's talkshow, "IU's Palette" later today at 6 PM (KST). IU and her guests usually perform 2 or 3 songs with her live band. This song was filmed in a cave of Spain. So they decided a flashy outfit for him due to the dimed atmosphere of the cave. They feared that a normal outfit would not be able to catch the viewers eyes and the purpose of MV would fail, which I think was a good judgement.

Oh, and you previously mentioned you prefer female singers. IU is possibly the most famous solo female pop singer in S. Korea; you will most likely love her voice and her interpretations.
