My favourite is the multiple destinations in this video. I don’t have many fx yet but I can imagine with the technique you can get great results quickly.
Amazing video!!! Will the CV inputs on the IME modules all accept audio input to modulate? I.e. the X Y Z axis on the Piston Honda or the cutoff on the Bionic Lester. In my head there shouldn't be a problem but given the price it's something I'd like to be sure about!
Both PH MK3 and BL MK3 reacts well to audio rate signals. But the BL MK3 CV destination to the Mode will behave like a weird distortion or saturator. And small amount of modulation to the Resonance and CutOff is interesting. This is in fact very nice and is probably caused by the Comb filter. It's the sound and caracter you'd expect from an IME modules.
another great video ! for a beginner like me its super helpful so thanks for sharing :) any recommendation on some interessting vca designs or ones you like to use?
My favorite VCAs are the Double andore from Harvestman or Industrial music Electronics, because the unit comes with its own envelope generator and also you have cross modulation of amplitude between the VCA outputs. So you got lots of Controls for your sound design. Other wise the Intellijel is also my favorite ones but you'll have to get some envelope generator. And the Envelopes form itellijel are the most snappy envelope I have found.
i'm so confused how the timbre change from 7:30 to 7:40. kermit was the oscillator right? doesn't look like any xmod is set up.. looks like you got it by changing the offset on the uVCA. head scratching. anyway, thank you professor.
I was changing the VCA response from Linear to exponential. This is why I think the more options you got on your VCA... the best it is. Imagine a racing car with cheap tires. VCAs and envelope are not something to neglect.
@@fosferus I dont have the veils, but a friend of mine does. I'll give it a try next modular session with him. I'll let you know. For sure from what I've tried. Intellijel and the Double andore are what suits best my needs.
This is great. Thanks a lot for sharing it. I learned a lot. You deserve millions of followers....
I didn't know there was millions of modular addicts ! :D thanx for the comment
Your vids are the best. Funny and informative.

@@robotopsyrobotopsy6486 Thanks a lot for the tip, on it as we speak! :)
thx for this inspiring video! got some new ideas and motivation :)
Great thanx. You can't have enough VCA - LFOs - ENV - or Mixers
Thank you so much for this video. I've learned so much!
Glad to hear this !
I made another quick tips that might also help.

@@robotopsyrobotopsy6486 thank you robo, i will look into the double andore!
@@lasko303 I've made some tutorials about them, but they're discontinued modules but a new version is on the way
@@robotopsyrobotopsy6486 yea, i saw it last night. the crossmod sounds mental!
any news on when the mk3 is dropping?
@@lasko303 Don't have any clues ?? but be sure I'll gat my hands on that. Probably need at least two of this unit.
Great vid.

@@robotopsyrobotopsy6486 aah makes sense! some good crunch on those. i don't think veils gets as gnarly.

This is fucking Gold
Glad it was helpful !
Shame about the dodgy speech synthesis :/
I totally approve.
