oh my GOD YOU dropped real live nuggets my mouth would have been tried of pronouncing all OF THE stats. THANK you so much your videos are always on point and exact
Great information, a mic might help improve video quality. I struggled to hear over the music and some of your videos without music in still could not hear well
Thank you Darius for your content, it’s been extremely helpful! However lol, your background music is usually a bit loud lbvs, which makes it a little hard to hear you clearly.
What are your thoughts on the Oaklawn area of town and it's safety for a single female? Walkability and access to restaurants and shopping? I'm seeing more condos come on the market in that area. ($390k +)
Sorry, I lost a channel on my mic. Please watch on different device or turn on closed caption. I just watched it on my phone and I can hear the entire video
@@LivingInDallasTexas a few of the houses I was looking at are there. I was looking at homes all over but the one that have what I'm looking for was in Flower Mound.
I grew up in Flower Mound. Overall a nice, lowkey area. Not extremely 'diverse' in terms of a black population. About 3% black. Population ~80,000+/-. More blacks live next door in Lewisville, which is a bit more racially diverse. FM is consider the more 'upscale' or upper middle-class per se of the 2 suburbs, reputation wise. Most expensive or costly to live in of the 2 cities. A family type community, middle-upper middle class, quiet, rural like feel. Not a 'in your face' type place wealth, very lowkey, laidback community, typically family like community, cookie cutter subdivisions; but not one of the diverse communities in the metroplex. You will definitely not see black faces everywhere you look in Flower Mound or Highland Village.
They are both nice cities but 50-60 miles one way to DFW International Airport plus depending on whose counting, there are probably over 100 suburbs in the DFW Metroplex
Dont forget the economics, the cost of living either. You can make los angeles/new york wages but live on lower wage cost of living. I moved out here to texas from California, and me and the wife make the same money we did in cali but paying $2.00 a gallon gas, brought a 5k sqft home 20 miles from downtown (no way we cld had afforded to live like this in LA), and enjoy the green trees and grass everywhere breathing in fresh air, and the teenager kids are able to get jobs easily compared to California where 30-40 year olds are taking all the teenager jobs. So while you’re being funny, there are ppl who look at your comment like ur ignorant. While texas is a red state, it is ran very well. I wld never go back to California. There is literally traffic everywhere, and the heat isnt bad, but u will definitely see a lot of pick up trucks rather its black, white, or yellow; it’s because there are hard working men here and the reason why the unemployment rate is low and why the homeless rate is low. Again, do your homework before you make comments about a place u probably have never been to. Shout out to Darius too for helping us close on our home and keeping us updated wen we were building our home. He really did a good job as a agent.
@@fatlu1378 i made a comment saying you are ignorant because u lack the knowledge, in which is the meaning of the word. You call me a fool because i made a move to a place i did my homework on and im a fool?? Lol, ok. Be safe!

Why wasn't Mckinney or Allen not on this list? We were thinking of moving somewhere around these parts.
According to the stats, Allen nor Mckinney is not as Diverse as the ones that made this list.

How’s the diversity in little elm?
