Malshej ghat is on Kalyan-Ahemad nagar highway NH-61. 133 Kms away from Nasik. and 63 Kms away from Kasara ghat on NH-3, Mumbai-Nasik-Agra highway. Nasik-Kasara-Shahpur-Murbad-Saralgaon-Malshej. From Mumbai Side, on NH-3, Kalayan-Murbad-Saralgaon-Malshej. We recently visited both Kasara and Malshej ghat from Ahmedabad, GUJ. We were lucky that, on the day of our trip we were welcomed by heavy rainfall and dense fog at camel valley-Kasara and Malshej ghat.

There are other routes as well for Pune to Mumbai via Lonavala and Khandala ghat, this is mainly Ahmednagar-Kalyan Road via Malshej Ghat.
