I go camping with an Army poncho, a hammock, a camping axe, a box of matches, a canteen, and a few cans of food. I've never felt as inadequate. I didn't know you could camp like this! Awesome!
My goodness! Idk how this came on my timeline but I'm so glad it did. These girls are inspiring and their camping experience was so therapeutic. Everything looked luxury and so resourceful. When they opened the windows to the tents I was like 😱. Now I want to go camping
That's ridiculous. I still camp at 70 years old and NEVER did I need electricity. That's what camping is all about. I catch my food and cook it over a wood fire. Use a kerosene lantern for light in the tent at night. No phones, computers electric blankets and gizzmos just enjoying the great outdoors. if you are going to do all of that why not just stay home?

When you get older, hopefully many, many years from now the extra comfort shown here might look perfect. I remember the joy of rugged camping trips and sleeping on the open ground in a mummy bag, not even a mat underneath. Now my eyes get wide at the self inflatable beds and sofas.
