Based on the video, it seems that this was recorded around 2000. Considering that Hyesung was about 2 years old at the time, he probably died a few years ago if his condition didn't affect his lifespan too much. Hoping they were happy years, surrounded by this loving family.
Seeing the last shot of Hyesung walking home in his wheelchair made me happy and cry Grateful to his guardians and the Drs just wish there was something more that could be done medically. Hyesung you cutie we all ❤ you and are rooting for you 😘

Such dedication and true love for this gorgeous cat. Their dog also gets along well with him. I have to say that whoever invented he wheelchairs for disabled animals deserves special recognition too. Many thanks to the caring vet as well. I winced at the nerve pinch test, but the MRI said it all. Thank you everyone-many happy years ahead for all!

I have seen this before. A local vet (Albany,NY) found a cat in this condition, an orange boy he named Prince. He lived at the vet's office so that his waste could be manually expressed every day. They fitted him with babies' shorts. He became the "greeter" and companion to the animals in the waiting room. He lived for at least 10 years. The Albany Times Union did stories on him twice, the second time when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I am amazed that the man in the video is able to care for his cat on his own!

He/she zoomed right in on that tree-climbing. So glad cat is now mobile and doesn't have to drag itself around. You are a really nice caring couple for animals at this cool rescue center!!!

He have the chance to have a good human who care of him and love him like that. My cat have a handicap between he is born and i save him from euthanasia , and he is the cutest and marvelest cat in the world. I love him forever and ever and ever 😂

When they showed the wheelchair, I actually started crying. The love and devotion these people have for their cat is so beautiful and so inspiring.
