Rare Custom 1956 Mercury "Crown" Montclair.
This is ONE of only 4 Montclairs that were customized to have at the Ford Victoria roof trim by Gerald York back in the late 60's and early 70's. The Victoria trim is a perfect match for the Mercury and dresses it up as a very unique Montclair. It's been featured many times in magazines including Old Cars Weekly and has won many trophies.
Body on frame complete restoration. Every surface that could be powder-coated was powder-coated. Upholstery color matches the exterior colors perfectly. All chrome is in excellent condition. No rust. 312ci rebuilt V/8 (with 1500 miles), matched to an automatic transmission with overdrive. Holley 4-Barrel Carburetor (Tri-Power Manifold available). New stock high efficiency radiator.
Power steering, new Wilwood front power disc brakes. Continental kit (removable). Dual mirror spotlights. Chrome wire wheels with new radial whitewall tires.
