Wouldn't you agree that babies are living in a monk like state?
At age six a near drowning erased my memory and reset my mental state to that of a baby.
There are no thoughts, just silence. It's a life of see and hear, one or the other will bring about an impulse to act out.
The best part was how my parents raised me. The first six years or I should say, from 18 month to age six, I lived in a passive state. I had no affection and didn't like to be touched.
So, my parents, even though I was no longer that child without affection. They continued to treat the same.
Imagine, waking up to a new world. Imagine, waking up in a state without any awareness that yesterday ever happened.
In fact, everything you do today. As soon as each situation comes to an end, it's forgotten like it never happened.
It's a life of, What's next? There is no fear, no such concept or reasoning to connect with the difference between failure and success. It's all the same, so, it's a life of constant movement towards some unknown.
Now imagine, a baby being able to hold on to that mentality for life? What would their life be like? What natural abilities would they use? With every new experience. The brain grows in opening and using it abilities.
We must be in a continuous state of being challenged. Challenge is a word I learned about recently, yet, I have faced throughout my life.
How do you let go of yourself and eventually living as though you don't exist? This is how you should for life.
