This ink cartridge is compatible with the Canon Pixma IP2850, MG2400, MG2450, MG2455, MG2500, MG2550, MG2550S, MG2555, MG2555S, MG2900, MG2950, MG2950S, MG3000 Series, MG3050, MG3051, MG3052, MG3053, MX490, MX495, TR4500 Series, TR4550, TR4551, TR4650, TR4651, TS205, TS305, TS3100 Series, TS3150, TS3151, TS3300 Series, TS3350 Series, TS3351, TS3352, TS3355, TS3450, TS3451 and TS3452 inkjet printers.

You can also take a Butter Knife and Pop the whole lid from the cartridge of. So you can see exactly how full you filled the cartridge. Fill the felt from the side with no print head and tilt it woward the print head. If ink spills over the felt, tilt it in the other direction and such the rest up with the syringe. After that you can attach the lid with some sticky tape or leave it on slightly and insert it into the printer. The carriage will hold the lid on. It works just fine with this kind of cartridge and a pixma mg2555

Perfect, so just to confirm there's no chip on the se cartridges that need resetting etc in order to continue printing? Unlike some others in the past I've had..
I still get continually the amber LEDs at "B" ... , After refilling black ink ,.....I'm the wrong side of 60 to truly comprehend these modern technologies... Any pointers would be appreciated....

U can use a thumb drill but takes a while and you might get blisters like I did.
Hi gyus, tried refilling as shown, but when i put the needle inside and start pressing slowly, the ink comes out from the bottom part of the cartridge. Any ideas?
Pressure builds up in the cartridge, i drilled it with a 3mm drill bit and injecked with a needle slowly
It is important that which type of Ink we use?
I just used to refill inks off eBay and they work fine... A set is about 10 UK pounds and lasts about 25 refills
Hi and thanks for this clear tuto : i tried to do the same, unfortunately it doesn't work
before i refill the black cartridge, the printer was printing in gray to finish in white.
With the refilling, it continues to print in white and the orange B light of my Canon TS3150 machine stays on.

For the pg 545 i put 5-6ml/refill amd for the cl546 i put 2-2,5ml/color

Dont do this. You dont need to drill holes in the lid. You can just Open the lid.

I have already just drilled.... everything went well, clean & smooth.... until my print is refusing to accept its refilled, I wonder ic the weight is too heavy? I wouldn't say its over filled as its not leaking, but it just won't registered it. Any ideas?
