    I really loved the way you captured the colors of the sun going down through the trees. Nice location and relaxing camp

    Always great to see a new video from you and Marc. The camo pattern of Marc's tarp looks like a Swedish style one I used to have.

    Another good one, everybody loves a Bombay Badboy, although it should be a Mumbai monster 😂.
    Was that the British Army survival knife? I've not used mine for a long time. Recently got a Joker Nomad 12.5". Great for heavy camp duties and lighter to carry.
    All the best

      Well spotted on the knife. Its not a real one but a cheap copy. So strong it makes no difference though. 👍

      @@jim-bob-outdoors indeed, what a majestic figure it must have been. Just got back from the beach, been watching the meteor shower, tomorrow and Tuesday are sposed to be the busiest nights for it but the sky is beautifully clear tonight.

    Beautiful area to camp in with a cool and carm look to it , but to many fallen trees and branches for my liking , you can't win them all .

    Hi quick question if your in the woods and see other campers disrespecting the site by leaving rubbish would you say something and also if you found rubbish in the woods would you pick it up

    • @jim-bob-outdoors
      @jim-bob-outdoors  28 дней назад +2

      Yes I would go and have a word. As for finding rubbish, I remove as much as I can.

    A pleasant camp Alan, nice and relaxing, not sure about the immigrants camp tarp..😂 they wouldn’t put up with that,…they get hotels, bathrooms, food, clothes, and iPads to log on to their home relations…..😮 best wishes

    It's a lovely spot and woodland. At 10:08, I didn't know Fir trees could be so gargantuan; thanks for featuring their size. You rarely see a log cabin-style fire in most camping videos.
    When you have closeup shots of yourself talking to the camera/us, you are watching yourself on the camera viewing screen and looking off to the side, which is distracting. Would you try to refine and perfect your technique by looking directly into the camera lens or eye-to-eye with us viewers?

    • @jim-bob-outdoors
      @jim-bob-outdoors  Месяц назад

      Yes the and the screen are offset. Its very difficult at close range.

    It's a good job no mountain bikers were in the area, otherwise, they might have been garroted on that Guinness Book of Records ridge line. The tarp reminds me of the German Army Splittermuster camo.
