- Blood Red Shoes perform Cold in session for Huw Stephens and Radio 1 from the BBC's legendary Maida Vale studios. Listen back to the whole session and interview here bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01cbvsb
this song has no explanation... its so deep and simple at the same time...
This song instantly became one of my favorite blood red shoes songs.
it doesn't matter how she looks, good or bad - her voice is so powerfull and that's important
BRS love them so much one of the best bands ever
Her riffs are so good. Can't explain it.
That opening drum line gives me chills. Definitely a song where Stevens drumming shines.
so...GOOD! theyre so talented.... i love them,
A kick ass song from a kick ass band!!!!!
They're perfect! I'm so excited about the new album! And I hope they come to Brazil again.
LOVE THESE GUYS. They're amazing. Can't wait for their album.
Sleeping Dogs is the reason i know this song. And what a song it is!
Same! Kerrang radio introduced me to a few kickass tunes
I like it a lot! Hope to see you guys playing in Portugal
they are awesome!
still great, years later
this is fantastic.
Amazingly great! Cool vibes!! )
SO beautiful!!! Can't wait for the tour
Badass drums, badass riffs
great performance!
Me too. I drive around listening to Kerrang just to hear it again :)

cannot wait to see them when they play in newcastle
and they're even more amazing live :)
AWESOME!!!!
This was incredible in Manchester.
HOLY SHIT!!! THIS IS AWESOME
The best
Perfect
love the intro, but i thought he played it with a double bass pedal, still amazing!
The songs translate so much better through these sessions than the studio recordings. Over compression is to blame I venture.
Who cares if Steve doesn't have a shirt he's still a badass drummer regardless
ARGH, I want them in Italy.
Nice
Just discovered this band. This is my fifth song I've listened to and while it sounds good I could never stand more than 2 in a row because they all sound identical.
that telecaster.
I think i'm love with Steven
WOAH AWESOME LIVE VERSION ! So much powerful ! Do you ever think about recording an entire live album ?
🎸❤🥁
Gotta love BRS
The album version sounds much heavier! This is more the usual BRS sound... great stuff!
"COLD, COLD". OF COURSE ! YOU'RE SHIRTLESS ;)
This is better than the studio version.
A Good band with Radio 1 behind them, of course.
Agreed :p
That was fuckin magical
I actually discovered this band because of MTV
in the intro steven reminds me of tim from tim & eric
last real rock band on Earth
Drumming is fucking great
I love this song. I love this band. I love Steven. Sexy.
Looking for the Blood Red Shoes - Under Your Spell by Desire cover. Where can I find this??
@MrLarry28 30th of March I guess
What date is the album out?? anybody?
love the band. does he really need to take off his shirt?
Tim Commerford totally makes RATM. They made me pick up a bass
cow cow
they don't need a bassist for sure, they are great only the two of them
What possessed him to take his shirt off?
The dude never seems to remember to keep his shirt on.
well, i agree on the chili peppers, they're all about that sweet, sweet flea bass. But RATM were all about tom morello dude
What 'bout 2010?
the bass provides something else though, more bottom end, more drive...another texture and layer which adds so much to the music. i'd go the opposite and say the bass is incredibly underrated...could you imagine chili peppers or ratm without bass? would be nothing! guyfidelity is right in saying the black keys are better with a bass player
Well it's easy to create bass notes just find the guitar chords play around a bit until it sounds good mixed with the guitar and drums
steve put a shirt on :( BUT AMAZING otherwise
why?
then wouldn't be blood red shoes!
should probably put a shirt on bud.
Sleeping dogs
RATM has some really cool bass lines...it's not all about tom morello
Sleeping Dogs brought me here.
nar its when Kill For Company do ;-)
ah that may be the case, but without the melody the bass provides, morello's lines wouldn't be nearly as effective
DUDE WHERES THE FUZZY GUITAR FROM THE SINGLE!!! BRING THE BIG MUFF OUT!!!
If you think these two create a racket check out this .... /watch?v=1ueRTlNngZo&feature=plcp
hey man, try saying that to the White Stripes. I think bass is the most overrated part of a band. It's much more interesting to use guitar, percussion and vocals to provide the necessary rhythmic patterns.
What? She fucking does.
In dire need of a bass player. The duo thing wears thin quick, even The Black Keys figured that one out.
RARG palm mute PLEASE
well whatever.....you still would
get some clothes on
Laura-Mary doesn't look very well in this session...
Yeah it sounds like shite.
