  • Thank you SO much for clicking on this video! IT'S WASH DAY (again) and this time I decided to try out Amika's signature line. I know this line launched a bit of time ago (I'm late) but it's okay haha. I LOVED LOVED LOVEDDDDD both the shampoo and conditioner and will definitely introduce them into my routine. The masque was okayyyy but not the worst. I hope you enjoy this video and if you have any questions or comments, please leave them below.

    Rinse out conditioners work best when you combine them with water (not too much but just enough). After applying the conditioner, add water to the head. Once the two are in the head, scrunch it in and then proceed to comb it out. It will detangle even faster and make your hair way softer! Love the video and products!

      This is great! Yeah, I think when I do this I add too much water and then I feel like I rinsed most of the conditioner out haha but I can for sure see it making detangling easier. I’m going to try again lol.

    Amika hair mask absolutely require water to activate and distribute…after applying mask 8n shower dunk your head under water a few times and work in….I guarantee the results are amazing

    I would try the mask on after you shampoo, usually only one conditioner can penetrate the strands after shampooing due to the ingredients. Maybe try that to see if you would like that better.

    • @kaylanatasha13
      @kaylanatasha13  Год назад +3

      Ohhhh I never knew that but it actually makes sense! Cause I was like uhhhh? What is this supposed to do? Lol. I felt like I could have just stopped at the conditioner and it would have been fine so next time I’ll skip the conditioner and go right in with the mask.
      Wow, thanks sis!

    There are ingredients that can actually make water and oils mix. It's like skincare products. That's why all those ingredients in a cream don't seperate despite being water based and having oils, butters, silicones, etc.

      Yes, to force the molecules to combine in order to form an emulsion! But when I was recording I was drawing a blank on the concept of if hyaluronic acid is considered a water or not?

    Love your review. I will try out.
    After shampooing, apply rinse out conditioner or mask.
    30 mins max is enough for a deep conditioner.

      Thank you! I’m always unsure when it comes to using a masque vs. conditioner because essentially they serve the same purpose.

    Does the front of your hair normally grow slower than back or is it from breakage or hair cut, 🤔 also beautiful curl pattern

    • @kaylanatasha13
      @kaylanatasha13  Год назад +11

      No, it all grows the same. I just had horrible heat damage in the front so I cut it 🫠 I know it looks crazy haha! But thank you!

      @kaylanatasha13  Год назад +1

      I haven’t really tried to style them as bangs yet, I’ve just been pulling them back lol. I’ve never had bangs before so I gotta maybe try a wash and go and see how it looks if I leave them out.
