Spring and plate are the most difficult to make sound right. The Flint does the job for that part really well. The hall is really great too. Both have an expression pedal input, which is a necessity for me, but the Flint also has three absolutely gorgeous sounding tremolos. It's hundred euros more than the MXR here in Europe, but a hundred is not much for three great tremolos if you think it over. I would love to see a revised version of Flint with pre-delay control.
What he said! ^^^. I own all three of these same pedals as well, and in my opinion, the Flint is far superior than the other two on all scores. Its more organic sounding . . . it combines tremolo with verb (brilliant!) . . . and its got stereo outs. Checkmate! If you try the pedal in stereo, using both FX, and experiment with blending both FX (one before the other), you're highly unlikely to be undecided. FLINT, all the way!
Obviously a Bladerunner fan! Bravo! I have the Flint it's very nice but that MXR is very nice too. Good demo. Cheers

Both very nice but I would go with the MXR for price and pedal space :) The Flint is not way better??? its so close, you would be happy with either
I agree 100%!
MXR for me.
5 years later... Is there a good alternative to the Flint today?
I sold the mxr for flint. It sounds better to my ears(when you throw it in send and return loop) even though I'm not the fans of tremolo.
You prefer Flint or MXR ?
hi there.where did you get that trs to ts patch cable?
Thomann!
Those are ebs cables right?
the flint is clearly much better. MXR has a ton if unnatural and harsh sounding resonance. Flint is super smooth and natural.
srtymon over-rated.every guy wanna sound the same.the sound is great but deformed .a sort of cavern guy sound.....Mxr blows!
The Flint is way better. Authentic sounding reverbs.
