This probably one of my favorite episodes. Because of that store owner, we know more about Noraly. This simple, random interaction revealed so much about how Noraly learned Spanish, etc. it’s such an amazing clip. I’m so happy it was included in the editing of this video. 👍🏾
She is! I bet she does the chats and gives joy to people so regularly it's not newsworthy at all for her. So many comments about people being nice to her but, she gives as much or more than she receives. The world is a better place because Noraly is in it. She's an outstanding human.

I love to see you interacting with the local people! It is very interesting - and all the details of getting SIM cards, exchanging money, etc. because those are part of the journey. It was very interesting to me to hear Juan talk about language, his dog, his education, etc.. To see how people are around the world takes me out of my USA bubble and see that so much of the people around the world are so much the same. I got this experience in Costa Rica - I speak very little Spanish, but managed to have a conversation with a security guard at a resort. He was an older gentleman and was delighted that I tried to speak Spanish with him, and he knew no English at all. It was a nice connection, and a nice moment for the both of us.
Excellent video Noraly! In America shopkeepers put bells or fancy electronic gizmos on their doors to alert them of customers arrival, in South America they just don't oil the hinges, BRILLIANT!!
Me encanta conocer personas de la vida diaria, todos tenemos nuestras historias, estoy encantado con tus viajes, felicidades Noraly. Saludos desde Colombia 🇨🇴 🎉 mientras veo tu travesía por África.
I enjoyed this very much. I appreciate the ability to interact the the people of the country you visit. I especially enjoyed the shopkeeper. It seems all the older men are like uncles... they want to protect you. We want you to be safe, too.
Like many comments below, I really enjoyed your conversation with Juan. It's nice to hear the thoughts and opinions of the local people. The other and far more important fact is that people world wide are generally nice, helpful, and truly interested in speaking with you. While I know there are exceptions, people generally do not deserve the broad brush unfriendly & unsafe label our governments place on them. The interactions that you and adventurers like you have with people around the world has restored my faith in humanity. This video has far more personable than any others you've published on this adventure so far. Absolutely one of your best. Please share more like them when the opportunity arises. Thanks and safe, travels.
Noraly you mentioned you don't normally do videos like this, but I'm sure I speak for many people when I say this one was so enjoyable. I would recommend doing one like this every so often. It gives a more personable side to you and the people you meet. Your channel is awesome!!
I loved this episode because of the communication she had with that old gentleman, it would be better to see her interacting with the locals more in the coming episodes..
Liked the chat with the shopkeeper, such a nice chap and interesting and interested in Noraly's adventure, also funny when he said about the French being irritated when English is spoke.
Noraly, we love watching your adventures. You are so cool, courageous and capable, showing us lands we have never known, not the touristy parts but off roads, the real countryside. You show us your breakfasts, your accommodation, how you nearly froze, the heat, the isolation, the condors, talking to the locals, your good knowledge of Spanish, how you cope with all difficulties even with the chasing dogs. A highlight was your chat with the local when buying a sim-card. Can't wait for tonight for the next episode. Be safe and thank you.

@@kasperkjrsgaard1447 I'm very impressed by her grasp of the languages....English as well, it certainly helps when travelling, even better when you meet such lovely people, as she has done...
I enjoy seeing the more interesting towns in more detail like this episode. I think it gives non riders a sense of what traveling on a motorcycle is all about. While your senses are much more engaged on a motorcycle vs a car, you still want to stop and find need little shops and local attractions that are unique! That and interacting with folks along the way, spending a few minutes talking, makes the journey so much richer. Plus I think people are often more friendly to people on motorcycles traveling long distances, because it seems like more of a difficult journey to them than simply driving a car or a truck for hundreds or thousands of miles. It feeds the ego enough to get through the really hard days....like when it's cold, rainy and windy. When my two brothers and I rode the California coast we stopped at shops, greenhouses, and a cafe that we had seen on several TV shows. People were great to us; thought it was neat that we were doing a family ride; and talked to us about the motorcycles we had rented (only my one brother had ridden his own from Arizona). These experiences plus the comoradory of my brothers helped me get through the very strange weather...they have lots of microclimates. Our second day started in the mountains (low 50s F), then we rode down into a desert area (85 F no humidity at lunch), then back up into the coastal mountains which were warm, then down the other side to the coast (75 F and fog)! Again, thanks for an interesting video. It's great that each video is a bit different. I'm not having as much fun as you are, but pretty close to it. ;)
I really LOVED your conversation with the Shopkeeper. It was interesting to find out you learned Spanish by Immersion, which is the quickest. My Dad learned French that way, by living with a family in Belgium, before he went to the Belgium Congo as a missionary in 1930.

Melhor episódio, falar mais de você do seu lado pessoal mais humano do que da viajem em si, falar mais de você da suas histórias e personalidades!
I liked seeing "behind the scenes"a little bit in this episode on this corner of the world.
Wow.....!! I just wish I could do this one day....your truly my inspiration noraly..thanks
I am so impressed that you learned Spanish in 6 weeks. Enough to carry on a conversation is very impressive!
That old guy and his dog were just so nice and sweet.
What a Nice chat with Shopkeeper.
Love to watch.
Concur, the inter action and conversation with the locals is thoroughly interesting.
I LOVE this type of “behind the scenes “ videos and especially the conversations with locals ♥️
I love the interaction with the locals/nice friendly store keeper.
We love when you show us how you manage to get your supplies and the people you meet along the way. It helps us understand how it is to travel. To us people who will most likely never make a trip like that it gives us pleasure to watch you enjoy it. We enjoy it with you just like we were standing next to you experiencing it ourselves.
I really like the bits you show of the lovely people you meet. It has been great to see that you can meet wonderful, friendly people all over the world.
Vielen Dank, dass Sie mir die Orte gezeigt haben, die ich nicht gesehen habe
Wow.. 1.5 years to travel. You are very brave women, Noraly
Great to see you talking to the locals at length, and a good comment "we connected".
You not only speak good Spanish, you do it with confidence, which can be the hard part!
A two hour ferry over 50 Km is not a slow boat! Best wishes.
What a lovely guy, Juan....
The fluent Spanish, picked up in 6 weeks ....amazing
Apt you say "we are connected"
Every day folk doing the same, world over....
Jilly Travels
I was working in Spain for seven weeks, i picked up a bit of the language but compared to Norales,,,,,, forget it.
I'm not having as much fun as you are, but pretty close to it. ;)
Juan: " love?" Noraly: "Dhanno"
I really LOVED your conversation with the Shopkeeper. It was interesting to find out you learned Spanish by Immersion, which is the quickest. My Dad learned French that way, by living with a family in Belgium, before he went to the Belgium Congo as a missionary in 1930.
