I was very sad to hear that a house party I attended in 2018 in Port Lock had renovated and torn down their Ossipoff house to make it more modern- heartbroken. Ossipoff homes were one of a kind, and pieces of history. They are way more valuable now than these modern structures. I knew it was an Ossipoff the minute I stepped onto the property because it felt magical, not a lot of architecture nowdays feels like that. Vladimir Ossipoff was a true master of his craft and an artist.

The view count is criminal! Of course, there's no need for the doc to go viral, but I certainly hope it finds a wider audience. Like Ossipoff's work, the cinematic craft employed here feels like a warm embrace.

Ossipoff designed both of my Grandparents homes, the Macaulay home that my mother grew up in on Manoa Rd. and the Dr & Mrs FJ Pinkerton home up at the top of Ualaka'a.

Having been blessed to be there several times, this video captures the essence of being at the cabin, the quiet of nature.
