Bronco Gets A New Take On The Raptor Style Grill Lights

- In today's video, we will show you a DIY take on the Ford Raptor Grille. It was very easy to do, but we do stress that you take your time on it.
So everyone knows the Raptor style grille: the three amber lights in the center of the grille. There is a true reason for this, and its a DOT regulation that any truck over 80" (203.2 cm) wide must have what is called IDENTIFICATION LAMPS/IDENTIFICATION LIGHTS. This is why you see the Raptor F-150, Bronco Raptor, Ram TRX (those are on the hood and they look amazing btw), and Raptor Rangers (just to name a few) all have to have these lights by DOT regulations.
The lights don't serve any other purpose other to tell law enforcement, DMV, DOT, and every other transportation agency the vehicle is over 80" in width.

This is actually what I want to do as well. With my headlights I have the orange marker light as well and I do not like the three lights above the amber of the headlight.
It’s pretty simple. I was surprised how stock it turned out.
That turned out great, think I might copy you on this one for my Badlands grille but I’ll have to paint the backing pieces grey to match my grille
If you use the satin black side it may not show out like grey.

Funny, i took them off of my Raptor. Months later i saw everyone adding them.
That’s why we did this way. A little different effect.
Def looks good but im way to lazy to take on that project.i ordered some vintage FORD letters to replace bronco. Im putting them on a new grill so if inget tired of it i can switch back. Thats about as fAr as im willing to go.great video
We enjoy working on cars of any kind. That’s our way to relax from everything going on. It really helped when Jill was recovering from cancer. We just kept going with it. Everyone has something they like to do to relax.
