I couldn’t believe how quickly the Eagles were getting covered in snow while in their nest this week! I live in Michigan near Lake Michigan and we get some serious snowstorms, too. Be safe. That’s cute. With your plowed roads. Lol we got bombed in Running springs. It’s above my head. I plowed for 7 hours straight today. No plowed roads at all. I got everything I needed before the storm. Can’t drive anywhere not even with lifted 4wd
From Oregon, I love love snow days. Every winter I get snow, we just had about 5 inches and right at this moment it's snowing here. Love all the lights in your cute town. SO much snow there!☃️⛄
Beautiful!! I was born and raised in California!! I was born in Ventura and grew up in Sacramento. My mom was an avid skier. Boreal Ridge and Sugar Bowl were her favorite resorts. I live in Idaho now with my husband of almost 40yrs. You've got more snow than we do!!! About the Windex in your windshield fluid....nope. Won't do anything. There are two types of windshield cleaners. One for summer time and one for winter time. Their different colors, same price. THAT'S what you need. NOT Windex. There are also different kinds of motor oils for winter and summer. There are two different kinds of diesels too. One for summer and one for winter. If you use the summer diesel in the winter, it gels up and your engine dies. What worries me the most is the people who are so eager to go out and play in the snow but aren't dressed for the cold. Hypothermia sets in fast and is deadly. Be careful, be prepared and have fun in the snow!! ☺️☺️☺️
Yea! This looks like the winter storms I remember growing up, living in RS from the mid 1940’s. Tobogganing off our 12/12 pitch roof!10 to 12 feet some years! Digging down to our second story window to get in after being in Highland over night for a movie. Could not get in the front door! 🤗

When I lived in Maine and Vermont, everyone there used Rain X all season windshield washer fluid. It has a freeze rating of -25°F to 0°F depending on which one you get. Walmart and auto part stores there have it, but not sure about out here. We also used special winter wipers that minimize ice build-up.

Try "Glass Wax" brand window cleaner. Goes on as a light paste and once it dries you buff it off with a soft dry cloth. It coats glass better than RainX.
I had to stop watching yesterday because of the fast driving. Thanks for slowing down. We want you and others safe. When I lived in Big Bear I learned quickly about black ice and those surprise 360s.
And why haven’t I heard of you sooner?!!! Great video man!!! I did that drive the exact same time in my old Ramcharger, did it in 2wd the 4wd wouldn’t kick in and it was serious snow and yes you are driving at a safe speed…….
Thank you for these videos. The area is beautiful! Been watching the live eagle cams too. This is supposed to be the biggest snowfall in 50 years. They do make RainX washer fluid. I use it and love it!
In Valencia I saw where there is a raging river next to an R.V. park and owners were able to evacuate from their motorhomes fairly quickly but the some motorhomes ended up in the river because he land just gave way next to the R.V. park.
Wow .. i wish we had snow..lol.. i live in South Texas in Galveston.. we had that hard freeze and we got into the single digits.. i think low was 7 degrees.. my pipes froze had to replace them with PEX.. Stay safe out there.. thank you for showing us this historic video .. God Bless !

We used to ride snowmobiles on the golf course year's ago and pull a skier my place is on deer canyon.
Never have seen so much snow in Big Bear. Have seen snow and skiing as late as May.

Use a big push Broom to clear off your vehicle. Works awesome. That's what I use in montana.
