I think the ghost helicopter was the first experiment, because in gta vice city, those ghost helicopter don't have collision and are indestructible/invulnerable. What I was trying to day is that, they try it first on vice city then fully implemented it with collision and made possible to be destroyed in San Andreas coz I remember seeing random helicopters at night in San Andreas with spotlight roaming.

hey guys, this just seems to be the right channel to finally unravel the most taxing mystery I have been cracking my head on: isn't the freeway we see during the opening intro (the one Tommy is carrying Mercedes on) the exact same freeway we see hanging on the wall behind the counter of Mitch Baker's pub, during the last seconds of the cutscene mission "messing with the man"? If so, why can't we find such vehicle in the game? was it meant to be in the beta or in a previous version?
