It's been quite a while since I could upload a new video, but I've been working on this one for a while now.
I needed a larger air compressor for the workshop, so I bought one... here are my thoughts and a short lesson in how to pronounce ‘Hyundai’ for no real reason.

You would benefit from a larger airline. It's not necessarily about available pressure, it's about available volume. Your airline looks around 1/4". I'd upgrade to at least 3/8". Not sure on the metric conversions for those numbers.

I tried air sanders some years ago and decided for me the cost of upgrading my compressors was too high to make sense. But I do agree the air sanders are much more ergonomic.
Good to hear from you again. I always enjoy your videos. Whatever you have to share is always worth checking out.

Thanks. Yeah, if it was only for sanding it would have been a big spend. But needing to upgrade for spraying and the volume reduction made it worthwhile for me.

Life gets in the way far too much, I’m hoping to be back in the workshop properly by the end of summer, so hopefully I can get more videos out soon. I’ve definitely missed making stuff and the interaction on here.
I think they forget to mention that quiet is relative… but it’s amazing how much you’ll use a compressor for when you have one that doesn’t quite wake the dead 😆

It’s been far too long. I have plenty of things planned for the future, but I reckon then next few months might be a bit sparse and sporadic until I’m back on it properly again.

Big projects? I'm curious about what's to come.

      As am I 😆.
A friend has left a Gibson les Paul in my cave now for long enough to justify it ending up on the bench, and I had plans some time ago to modify a daisy rock guitar I’ve had stripped in the parts pile for a while, so I’ll have to see if I can fit those projects in around the next few phoenix batches.
