- After a terrible night at Calder Park we decided to try something different at Heathcote Park Raceway, and Dad's Ute ran a very solid PB.
Street Machine Carnage is all about having fun with cars. Sometimes it's serious performance, sometimes it's crazy fun, but it always interesting and done on a budget.

Massive thanks to the Carnage and Street Machine crew!! Thanks for the amazing content over the year guys!! Hope you all have a safe and Merry Christmas…. Enjoy 👍
I'm so happy to see someone still doing the n/a v8 thing :) so many people have lost touch with the purity of drag racing by chasing such crazy numbers. Keep doing what you doing
little known fact is that Don Prudhome, big Daddy Don Garlitts ,shirley Muldowney ,Romeo Capatonio ,victor Bray and Hans Van Dyck all ran their personal best times in Dunlop KT26,The Runner Of Champions
Very encouraging to see the progress you've made with Dad's Ute 👍. For an almost 56 yr old vehicle that could still be a daily driver and with some good road miles under its belt . Not to mention bracket race wins ! ! ! 🥇
I've been binge watching this series with the UTE. Great show.
Great Stuff Scotty. You are dead right. This Valiant is dead set like OG Street Machine.
Thank you for giving us viewers a fantastic series to watch this year. It’s had its ups and down but it’s been exciting to watch every week. Wishing you and your team a wonderful Christmas and a exciting 2024 with ever better times and results with all vehicles. Cheers Scotty 👊👍💪👌🎄🎄🎄🙏🙏
Ya wouldn’t think that plate would upset manifold/carburettor set up.Looking forward for 2023 .Merry Xmas carnage crew .🇦🇺👍👍👍
I see a feller squatting over his carburettor i am slamming the hood. The quest for 12's continues next year Scotty & have a good Christmas with the family, cheers.
It's 5am Christmas morning. What a great video to be playing now!!! Congratulations on the PB!!!
Great video, it's Christmas day and I'm hiding in my room watching this video. To loud outside.. maybe consider some Nos, what could possibly go wrong. Hahaha 🤣. Thanks Scotty....
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family Scotty, and to the whole StreetMachine / Carnage team. Looking forward to a wild year in '23.
Merry Christmas Scotty and the Carnage crew. Thanks for all the content and inspiration through the year.
now we know why there was what sounded like rpm fluctuations last vid! keen to see the ute go 12s, seems like a trans freshen up and the right conditions will get it there!
Merry Christmas from America!!! I love the old Mopar, the "Miata" is definitely fast and awesome in it's own way, but the old school stuff always gets me. Keep up the good work!
Cool that hey let you keep your hubcaps on at Heathcote, unlike Calder! Nice work Scotty, have a great xmas and NY!
Merry Christmas when it comes, Scotty! Have a great New Year too, mate! Cheers. Leigh. PS: Cossie engines long & short (yep, I had 2!), plus the Hart inlet & turbo/manifold have been sold. 4.6 Range Rover V8, 6.6kg steel flywheel, TVR clutch kit & TVR T5 bellhousing are here! Still a few Cossie bits to sell & stage 3 heads, piper 285 cam kit, TVR 45mm inlet & plenum base along with bigger injectors, 36-1 ignition kit still to get! Yeah it won't be as wild, but it'll sound ace!!
Thanks Scotty and crew for the entertainment throughout this year.
Scotty Edelbrock sell a nice Gasket which is around the 5 -6 mm thick with metal inserts for the studs which will help without sacrificing power. I had the same issue on my 318 and the 1/2 inch spacer it lost bottom end power . One thing I found helpful to slow down the fuel boiling in the carb was to run a small Facet fuel 5psi pump before the mechanical pump which helped with the high under bonnet temps in traffic .
Thanks for another awesome year Scotty.
