Hi LucifroN, What do you think is the best approach to playing the English vs Zhu'Xi matchup? Against most other civs I'm winning 80% of my games (diamond elo if it helps) but have lost 4/4 games vs Zhu'Xi players. In all games, both players invested into a feudal fight, but the Zhu'Xi player seems to be able to easily outtrade and outmass with Zhuge Nu vs Longbows? After these poor trades from the English pov, it seems like Zhu'Xi can just add 1-2 extra tc's and outscale. Is it a fundamental mistake to fight Zhu'Xi as English in feudal or am I likely mis-microing the fights?
I am pretty sure English wins prolonged fedual fight against zhu'xu. You shall slow transition to MAA(which is the counter to zhugu-nu with ranged armor) and build tower to extend the aura.
Exactly but don't take early fights as rheir eco is way better early on and they get free military at the start so just wait until high numbers and poke him with your longer range@@edgexue939
They counter maa with palastguards. Use our towers to Tower Rush, and kite their zugNus with longbows. And make pressure. Later build white tower in front. That’s my playstile vs them
