No sh*t. I've never passed out in my entire life, but this type of pain makes me come pretty damn close. Fortunately, so many doctors have a solid understanding of this condition (endometriosis incl.) that there is absolutely no need to buy off the strong pain meds off your male friends that slightly stubbed their little toe - irony off. Yeah, not relying on doctors anymore.

Are you trying to say that men don’t experience pain.??? 😭 I can guarantee that I’ve experienced more painful pain than you ever will. You definitely go through more pain on an average day. But I’ve been bitten by 3 snakes in my lifetime. One being venomous and we had to use the straw trick and I took anti-venom and washed the bite. And had to endure that for an entire 5 hours. It was really really excruciating. I learned my lesson. (I’m a boy scout, it happens when we go on a remote trail in a snake diaspora zone. It happens 🤷‍♂️ I’ve been shot by a BB gun at summer camp (don’t recommend, it was a complete accident and entirely my fault. but it’s comparable to the pain of being shot by an arrow. Got one of my toenails ripped clean off while cliff jumping (it’s considered to be more painful than any pain I just mentioned) Women go through slightly more pain in their average day to day life. But it’s almost entirely men who experience the most painful pain that we have discovered (just on rare occasions) mostly because we tend to take jobs that have actual danger in them. In military infantry it is more than 98% Male (the front lines where shots will be fired and you will see death and see people be split in half from claymores). It’s vastly men who work in iron smelting and molten hot metal is one of the most painful things to interact with. Game and fish rangers, park rangers who have interactions with wild animals quite frequently. And even just wood shop where people cut off fingers once in a lifetime.

@@colbysmith2460 No, I said it is generally easier for men to get prescription pain meds. I don't think there is much of a difference how men and women experience pain.

I'm sorry to hear you've had such painful experiences, but "slightly more pain in their average day to day life" is definitely an understatement when you consider most men don't do those jobs you mentioned, but most women do have periods, which as this doctor mentioned, can feel like you're having a prolonged heart attack for several days every month 😰

@@colbysmith2460 You’ve probably never had a cystitis. Such enduring pains are the most disgusting ones. Would gladly trade my monthly period cramps for these temporary pains you’ve experienced. Let alone childbirth or, as mentioned, bladder inflammation, which many women experience on a regular basis. Besides we don‘t choose to have our periods. It involuntarily takes up 1/4 of our lives until at least 40. If a person decides to have a risky lifestyle, that’s their choice, thus the possible pain that comes with it is within their own responsibility. So no, these situations are not comparable.

It's also possible to have a heart attack and mistake it for indigestion or back pain. Something serious can result in mild discomfort. And something benign can hurt like hell.

Did you know pepsid the heartburn medicine can significantly help women with pmdd (premenstrual dysphoric disorder)? It has changed my cycle. my daughter and daughter in love's also. We take it about 10 days before or monthly is due. It's amazing.
