Praise be to God!!! Yes my mother just passed away to The Lord. The rest home she was at just sent me a check for 700.00 and they just shut down our mobile home park that my disabled brother bent over with scoliosis and on oxygen...so please pray that we find affordable housing as i have congestive heart failure. God is faithful. We have the money to move but there is no housing because of the fires in California. It has left over hundred thousand homeless. So please pray for all of us that jobs are created to build affordable homes for the fire victims, the homeless and us. I believe in Jesus with my whole heart and he has always provided. I live here in Western North Carolina, a few years ago me and my father were low on money so we went to a soup kitchen a church does every Monday at lunchtime. The person that was supposed to cook couldn't be there. So a woman stepped in but she only had two pans of of pasta. People were lined up out the door, unusually crowded this particular Monday. They were thinking just telling folks that they don't have enough. But a woman said let's trust in GOD. They said they kept dishing out pasta and fed all of us and more left over. The Pastor that directs it came to us and told us and we were amazed and praised GOD!

Pastor Carter helped me get closer to God than ever before, this has been well over a year now and I still keep up with his messages. Things have been difficult lately, the World is so heavy now and often I get consumed by anger I feel I'm moving away from The Lord again. A relationship with God can be fragile in such a filthy World gushing with immortality, I need prayer, The World needs Prayer like never before it is deffinately time to pray. Right now SATAN is having a field day with my life! I just got certified for something that will allow me to go on and finally get my CNA license. Then I didn't get paid for the 2 weeks. There's more but why whine. I know in my heart that GOD will give me what I need but I am, after 8 years of sobriety teetering on the edge of a cliff. I won't allow myself to use again, but the way I feel inside is worse than using, I feel abandoned. I have no family no friends and because I worked with the elderly It's like being in prison. The story from pastor is not common. Many of us have been left to starve in times of need. Some have been made homeless or had utilities cut off. Pastors have a very different situation as do people who live in an area with a large number of Christian people there. But as the world becomes more against Jesus Christ, we will be left out more and more. I have experienced that twice in my life.and there were no food shelves in the area . We must also be prepared to suffer. First time 38-39 days I went with nothing to eat at all... Second time 4 MONTHS with a tiny amount of food, like a can of beans I bought from a neighbor with change I scrounged from around my house, or I ate the edible plants from my landscaping. Occasionally I got a few items from a church that they brought me. But very very few. Both times I was like a skeleton with skin at the end. Second time I actually ate some of the cat food that people gave me for my cat. But here I am today , still up and running and didn't lose my faith. So don't despair even when it seems GOD is nowhere. He is still in control.

Right now SATAN is having a field day with my life! I just got certified for something that will allow me to go on and finally get my CNA license. Then I didn't get paid for the 2 weeks. There's more but why whine. I know in my heart that GOD will give me what I need but I am, after 8 years of sobriety teetering on the edge of a cliff. I won't allow myself to use again, but the way I feel inside is worse than using, I feel abandoned. I have no family no friends and because I worked with the elderly It's like being in prison. The story from pastor is not common. Many of us have been left to starve in times of need. Some have been made homeless or had utilities cut off. Pastors have a very different situation as do people who live in an area with a large number of Christian people there. But as the world becomes more against Jesus Christ, we will be left out more and more. I have experienced that twice in my life.and there were no food shelves in the area . We must also be prepared to suffer. First time 38-39 days I went with nothing to eat at all... Second time 4 MONTHS with a tiny amount of food, like a can of beans I bought from a neighbor with change I scrounged from around my house, or I ate the edible plants from my landscaping. Occasionally I got a few items from a church that they brought me. But very very few. Both times I was like a skeleton with skin at the end. Second time I actually ate some of the cat food that people gave me for my cat. But here I am today , still up and running and didn't lose my faith. So don't despair even when it seems GOD is nowhere. He is still in control.
