Much respect for him speaking out on too much drinking. It takes a man to admit this and come out. When it's "cool" to promote drugs. Respect to this man.
Word I'm dealing with that struggle my damn self. Caught a dui Super Bowl night and trying to fall back from partying. Then realizing all ya fun been coming from drinking and losing friends cause they still in it can take u to a dark place man
KRIT has never put out an album I won’t listen to all the way through & through, then sit back and reflect on my own life. Met dude once, real humble and positive. I’ll always have to support the King Remembered In Time, because whether he know it or not, he helped support me ✊🏾
K.R.I.T. is criminally underrated and slept on.. such a humble guy. and deserves to be mentioned with the top in the game right now. he has the best album out right now.
Big Krit is a perfect representation for Mississippi especially for a 23 yr old like myself I look up to him...so wise and earthly and full of knowledge!!!! #Mississippi fr my brother.
He is so slept on. Meanwhile, we concerned about 21 Savage being in a sunken place with Amber Rose. Hell, we are in the sunken place if that’s our concern in hip hop.
Krit need to talk to Wale' man, seems like they're in the same space but Krit handling this shit the right way. He don't seem bitter or entitled at all
Carl McPherson I think it harder on Wale because like Him Kendrick Cole Drake were once at the same place and then he just fell. Like it's crazy he makes a amazing music but
Silhouette FACTS. I been all over the country man an honestly everywhere except from the south I've been niggas too soft, not even on like a tough guy level if u get what I'm sayin. Seems like we just not used to folding under pressure down here
Logan Kennedy That because us niggas from the south been through so much shit in our whole life we just learn to overcome and get stronger emotionally and give praise to the man upstairs. Especially here in Birmingham,AL where I live.
Mister Randy Watson We call that "J Cole, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem" effect. Pretty much you live in the studio 24/7 for months and creating that fire 🔥🔥🔥.
*‘4eva is a mighty long time’* is an amazing album. definitely in my top 5 of year, and krit’s best work so far IMHO. he is rapping his black ass off throughout the entire project. the length of the album doesn’t even bother me at all, because it flows so well and the funny interludes help it move seamlessly from one theme to the next. [some of] my favorite tracks are: *‘subenstein (my sub IV)’* -that beat switchup from a bass banger to a slow swanger is everything *‘1999’* -makes me want to back my ass up like it’s 1999. 😂💃🏽 can def see this one being his radio single. lloyd does the damn thing. *‘get up to come down’* -nice to hear sleepy brown singing in 2017, and cee-lo murked his verse. *‘layup’* -probably my most played track on the whole album. that chorus is infectious. 🎶lookin’ like a LAYUP ayyye🎶 *‘keep the devil off’* -makes me feel like i’m a southern baptist church during praise & worship! 😂🙌🏽
My musical big brother in my head lol. Hope i dont sound weird sayin that. Every interview he does is relatable and inspirational. One of the realest artists ever! #K4L 💯
I know the Kendrick stans gonna be mad, but that Big KRIT album the best Hip-Hop album I've listened to this year, hands down. For the record, I'm not shitting on Kendrick I'm upset at the people who only think Cole and Kendrick are the only good rappers in our generation when that is far from the truth.
willemdee man you ain't lying about that. I waited for Best Buy to open early in the morning on October 27 to purchase my physical copy and after playing this album nonstop, I feel like this is one of the best Hip-Hop/Rap double albums since 8Ball's '98 Lost album as far lyricism and diverse subject matter. Kdot and Cole are amazing, but they're highly overrated. I'm tired of hearing that generic response from people when they act like those are the only 2 artists as far as new school who are making an impact on the genre. It's so many more artist like K.R.I.T. who should be getting more credit than what they get.
honestly, this is the realest interview i've ever seen on the breakfast club, i love big krit so much, he's a lyricist and so down to earth and just real man i love it so much
Big K.R.I.T really gave us a damn near perfect double album. Making a solid double album is really hard, especially in rap. Every track hits, every instrumental is great, the hooks all pop, his flows and lyrics are great. You don’t get tired of it listening to both discs in one sitting. Every song feels like it belongs. Every song flows together and feels like it’s in the right place. The duality in the two discs thematically and sonically comes together beautifully. When he opens up about his struggles, he gets it across so well; you can connect with him easily. K.R.I.T is at the top of his game. He has more than earned his place among the greats in hip hop, especially now.
Bondy Blue Right?! Who doesn’t miss Lloyd? lol Hayyyy cousin Bondy! I’m a long time subscriber! I remember you saying you were a fan of Big K.R.I.T. Love your videos!
Your album is great. I heard it on Apple music and didn't think about purchasing it. After looking at the interview. I'm going to purchase 2 one for me and another for a little king in the Hood. Keep the fire coming Big K.R.I.T
Been waiting on this interview. Amazing album, song for every mood, and he's getting way more respect in this interview than last time he was interviewed by them.
Talking about anxiety and depression so openly, really awesome to see. He wasn't even on my radar until I heard 4eva which is fantastic and he seems like such a real dude to boot. Much respect.
I love his music always but his interviews and intelligence plus content in his conversation is everything... I loved watching him speak... He's extremely intelligent... I enjoyed his interview💯💪🏽
Hip Hop Album of the Year!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Coming from a East Coast native. Krit is a Pimp C/Andre 3 Stacks hybrid, with such versatility. Mississippi gotta be proud of him. Dude is 1 of the G.O.A.T. of this generation, reaching legendary status with every album he makes....

I love this interview. What I needed at the moment. I'm in a place in life and my career whereas I feel similar. I liked that he emphasized the idea of spirituality. I don't knock people for their beliefs, but the idea that there is something other than yourself is amazing. I pray for peace, humility, and happiness. With the normal values and routines of life I fall out of the habit of just praying and being grateful. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. We all have a process.
