It wasn't Aria, she had her own kid that was kidnapped. She then jumped to her death. Once she was a spirit she forgot what she lost (her kid). Then she runs into Aria sometime later. Aria lost her mother, and was drawn to the spirit but realized she was wrong. The spirit however remembered that she lost a child then and she, being very confused, thought it was Aria. Like she died in the early 90s or before (no cell-phones, and her words in Japanese are linked to the 80s
My take on the SA scene in EP1 was to tie it to Turbo Granny, a spirit that protects girls that were sexually abused (thus the rescue) and that the scene is supposed to be horrifying. Small spoiler from the manga but the aliens are generally the worst. In the anime they often make them feel inhumane and will use 3d a lot for them
OHHHHH TRUEEEEE THAT MAKE SOOO MUCH SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!! it's so messed up I honestly didn't know what I was getting myself into. ARE YOU SERIOUS THAT THE ALIENS ARE MUCH WORST..... i actually have never watched alien type of anime so I dont know how aliens are portrayed but this is INSANE. Also what do you mean by 3D??? this definitely got me off my feet. Apperciate your comment!
@@chekneereacts2 3d models, as with the sumo, over hand-drawn, as for the yokai You can see the yokai as self-hating distortions of humanity While the aliens as void of humanity and self-love (there is no individuality) These can change as with Acro-silke and Turbo Granny being influenced by the main cast that are very loving (esp momo and okarun) (And not to spoil too much, but not all aliens are just inhumane as there are possible exceptions)
