    Thank you very much for the video about FrSky Ethos!
    Make a video about Logic Switches in Ethos please .

      If you know them in Open TX they are done the same way👍

      They are basically the same as in OpenTX. Though there are more options in ETHOS (add more AND switches for example). These may give you a head start:

      Thank you. I will watch. I did not work with Open TX. I have Jeti.
      I haven't found in ETHOS how to make a logic switch ( AND ) using two sticks yet.

      Sorry, I don’t follow. What are you trying to create? A logic switch which is active when 2 switches are in a set position?

      I think I'll figure it out. Your videos about Logic Switches Open TX are very helpful. Thanks a lot!

    how do we adjust the Tx power in 2.4g on a tandem X20? I don't see any power settings in the RF system settings

      You don’t adjust 2.4GHz power settings. They are fixed .

    How do you get the picture on that?

    Hi Darren sorry that it's unrelated to this video but you might know the answer. I have my x20s for a couple of days and figured most of it out (mainly thanks to your videos)
    What I would like to achieve is the following. I fly either 6s or 7s lipo. With a 5 and 4 minute timer respectively.
    I wanted to program a logic switch that starts the correct timer automatically depending on the cell count (when I flip throttle hold off) I've came some ways to achieving this using the "RAGE" logic switch in combination with the "AND" switch but can't get it to work. Because the voltage rages partly overlap, I think 🤔

    • @MrD
      @MrD  Год назад +1

      What you’d need to do is have 2 logic switches that are activated when the throttle cut is switched off. The first checks for a 6S pack voltage, the 2nd checks for a 7S pack voltage. The 6S check should be voltage < 25.8v. The 7S check should be voltages > 25.9v. That should work for both packs, if fully charged, with no overlap. Because the pack voltage will obviously come down. When these switches are enabled, they should latch a sticky switch. Again, one for 6S, the other for 7S. Both sticky switches should be disabled by the throttle cut being turned on. The timers operate based on the sticky switch.

      @@MrD Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Would a edge trigger also work. I've read the ethos manual and played around some with the edge checkbox, but I'm not 100% sure how it works. I sometimes use throttle hold to do a autorotarion mid flight

    • @MrD
      @MrD  Год назад +1

      If you use the throttle hold in flight, this won’t work. It would stop the timer when you turn it on.

    How did you get your Chanel icon at the top of Ethos screen

      Magic 😉
      It just a system image. You need to change it in bootloader mode.

    I have maybe a stupid question. Can you bind the TWIN protocol or FrSky TWIN X-Lite to an elrs receiver?

    • @MrD
      @MrD  Год назад +1

      Yes. But they need to be running ELRS 2.3. Through 2.4 and 2.5 work too. All FrSKY transmitters will bind with ELRS using an external module. Which would be the better option.

    Hi Darren, thank you for your Work :)
    Maybe you would do a Video for us and explaining how to opposit Differential in Butterflymode / Brake for a Glider. For example i have a Glider with Aileron Differential so it moves more down than up. So if i hit the Butterfly Mode Ailerons Go Up and Flaps down. In this Moment my Glider has almost no Aileron movement. I know Theres a way to Turn the differential in the other way so the Aileron moves more down and the Glider have much more Roll rate.
    I hope you know what i mean.
    Sorry for my bad english, iam Not a native speaker.
    Thank you and
    Greetings from Germany :)

    Hi Darren, I'm considering the FrSky X20S. I'm not understanding much about the protocol module. Is it, or do you think it will be possible at some time to bind this TX with other manufacturers receivers. Obviously Radiomaster can do this but no idea if FrSKY is heading in the same direction? I"m selling my Graupner gear but if it may be possible to bind with Graupner receivers then I may keep them. Many thanks!

    • @MrD
      @MrD  Год назад +1

      You can use an external multi-protocol module with the X20S. This is the same type of module that RadioMaster use, only theirs is internal. I’m not certain about binding with Graupner. The supported protocols for multi-protocol modules can be found at www.multi-module.org/basics/supported-protocols

      @@MrD Thanks for your fast response Darren and for the link! Any chance you could do a video about using the multi-protocol module, what's involved etc? It would be really useful for an old geezer like me who is about to get back in the hobby after many years and hasn't got much of a clue!! Cheers.
