Its very interesting Sony have gone to 3x 1/3" sensors for a 4K camera as all the other manufactures have gone to 3/4" or 1" full frame sensor for prosumer camcorders.
I have a Z190, but the camera's alarm keeps going off. I can't turn it off! I reset the camera completely, changed every setting I can find about the alarm, but I can't turn it off. Anyone knows what to do?
i order first three pic pxw 190 in Sony so Room but do not discount, in Nepali price it is do not cheep. why it is light? to much light want, why removed avchd format?

I wish Sony would manufacture more products outside of China (USA or Europe would be great). The prizing seems really harsh for some products - especially the batteries for the PXW-Z190 seem extremely expensive. I do love that Sony continues with the 3 sensor technology (I wish there'd be smaller cameras having this technology too). Kinda struggling with the decision whether to buy this cam or not.
Shocking no 120FPS no 240 FPS... Big mistake you are giving 120FPS & 240 FPS in sony rx10 mark IV and not in this great camera why why??? this camera have everything 4k in 60FPS 25X zoom many more thing but how can you do this not adding slow motion feature in this camera???? I have sony rx10 mark IV but it has limitation but this camera have superb features but no i can't buy this camera because it doesn't have slow motion feature...
Instead of continuing to make camcorder with 1/3”or 1/2 “, sensors......why can’t Sony also make a camcorder with the sensor and mount of their D-SLR A7 series cameras. surely there is a Market for this type of camcorder with a full frame sensor and mount???
Rolling shutter problems with large single cmos sensor. Ideally would be 3x CCD 2/3" sensors but this would be expensive & would cross into commercial broadcast division not prosumer. The do have a PMW55 do you have $28K body only.
@@anthony4acre The Sony Z7's (2006ish) were awesome with the interchangeable lens mount system. Interlaced minidv format was always a loser compared to what Panasonic had with native progressive scans at the time. Sony always told they had the ''compressive'' mode but it wasnt a native compressive mode just some false marketing stragecy by them. I wish they would have made newer cameras with the same interchangeable system. with the sensor size (1/3'') You could easily adapt some really nice super8 camera lenses (such as the Beaulieu s8 lenses). But tbh the sony minidv look is really terrible compared to Panasonic.
camera compared to PXW-X160 gets off, truncated optics, codecs and many other matters, I tested the image quality and there is no difference between these cameras, PXW-X160 vs PXW-Z190 vs PXW-Z280
