I've always loved moto phone's especially the software but if only they provided their updates quicker and gave atleast 2 years os updates. overall i was surprised by the camera it was really good.
I am trying to decide between the Pixel 6 Pro and the Motorola. Many have said the Pixel had superior images but your video has me reconsidering that. Nice job! Thanks for doing this review,
there's only one problem, i have the pixel 6 and the front camera is blurry, they said its a software problem but some say its a hardware. so keep that in mind however both phone's are amazing but the pixel 6 camera is something else.
Disappointing is an understatement. The 2020 had a an AMAZING 108MP camera that was basically a selling point for the device when no other flagship phone on the market had a 108MP camera yet. The curved screen was a bad choice because screen protectors for the phone were not very touch sensitive, couldn't use fingerprint with them, etc., but the camera was amazing. For some reason this 50MP camera's pictures look barely any better than photos I took with the 12MP cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Moto G6
@@koreyb I ended up going with the Motorola Edge+ due to the $499.99 deal & I love it honestly; the photos are decent enough for me even though both front & back facing cameras could be better. Hopefully they release an ota update for that & other things that'll resolve all the kinks & problems.
I have Moto's and Pixel's over the last six years and not once have I ever thought "that camera is great", on any Moto device. Aside from the lack of IP67 and up, I personally like Moto's hardware more than my Pixel and I enjoy the UI.
Pics seem really crisp and clear as does the 4k video. Do all the lenses have OIS? Too bad no telephoto, I'd get it otherwise, Well just don't like edge display lol
Not really that bad IMO, can't compete to Samsung or iPhone but I think the camera is enough for most people.

The pixel 6 has far better images. It's not even close.
Pixel 6 is amazing i love mines you'd be better off with the Pixel 6 better hardware software and cameras are far more superior

At least the selfie camera is a huge improvement but for a 2022 version I would've expected it to retain the features that made the 2020 Edge+ so good

If the Pixel lineup didn't exist as he said, would probably give this a shot before going back to iOS. Thankfully the Pixel does exist!

My biggest disappointment are close up portraits using the main camera in PHOTO mode. The skin tones look fake. Perhaps the issue is the lighting.
Good stabilisation and sound recording.
I actually hope that 1080p stays around for while..its great for editig videos.

When you see other phones camera, the Edge plus 2022 is not good, I think for my next phone I will research for the overall phone of the year

Performance wise it is as good as it. it's just the camera..I wouldn't even say the camera hardware but the software rather.
