Cool friend
Eario X Amy 😍😍 Fonic
You are officially the best animation channel on RUclips for letting people keep your best works FOR FREE on a medium that does not require internet. Bravo.
Oh *thaaaaats* why it's for Windows 95.
Oddly enough, this project will also work on any version of Microsoft Windows from 95 all the way up to Windows 11. :) The programmer on this project, Kwasior, managed to make that happen. ^_^
@@DrMackFoxx Now if only my laptop had a disc drive
@@MmmMmph1968 For an easy solution, you can use WinRAR or 7Zip to turn the ISO files into useable data! Just make sure each ISO gets extracted to its own folder. From there, run the SPlayer program and you should be good to go. :)
@@DrMackFoxx *sits in stunned silence at his own stupidity*
why didn't i realize that
lol thanks
I didnt notice this was an april fools video. I do find the end resulr hilarious!
it took sonic's literal death for sonic paradox to upload again
Finally... Someone's actually catering to the Windows 95 folks!
21 years and I finally know what CD stands for. Thanks, Sonic Paradox!
I'm with you right there because it fell like something we should have Known
I was old enough as it became prime format and Floppy Disk was still used
Mainly saw 3/4 inch and cartridges until 1995 when Sega Saturn made it's debut which was unfortunately not Sega's gen as I ended up with the PlayStation.
Of course with Sony I got to experience all the formats on disk, at least the successful ones.
Wait I actually don’t know what CD stands for 😅
@@gracekim25 It stands for Compact Disc. :) The format was developed by Sony and first premiered in Japan in October of 1982.
I actually knew what CD stands for because I am so old we actually learned that in school as it was the new thing.
Nice reference to Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
I think you would like the Eggman Paradox video
Tried it on ny Windows 98 thin client. It actually works! Thank you for this gift.
legitimately keeping this in mind for whenever i decide to start doing retro computing, this'll be a fun novelty to test out the CD drives lol
This project will, best of all, work on just about any version of Microsoft Windows from 95 all the way to Windows 11. ^_^ You can thank the programmer on this project, Kwasior, for making that happen. :)
Play sonic cd, R and 3D blast in a 95
I guess they work better there than in modern OS
Wait, this isn't a meme? You actually made something playable on 95 computers? What is going on here?
A really fun gag I spent way too much time writing a video player for.
Source code is on my github btw
If not an april fool, I find the coincidence funny, since I just get a W95 virtual machine to work
This is a bit of both! It is an April Fools joke, but also a set of 3 video discs with a custom-made player that work on just about any version of Microsoft Windows from 95 all the way to Windows 11. Also, with the video and audio encoded in very outdated formats and specifications to work on mid-1990s computers. XD
Gotta say it was odd and amazing watching this on Windows 98 since RUclips is inaccessible under that OS. You ported a piece of RUclips to Windows 9x! Thank you for this amazing experiment! :)
Okay thank you for doing this I finally have a use for my old systems. Can you make a Macintosh System 7 version too?
That'd be cool! It worked under Mac OS 9.22 running Virtual PC 5 running Windows 98 SE, but it was really choppy under VM on that old 1999 PowerBook G3. The files play just fine on QuickTime 6 under OS 9.22.
I admire the commitment to the bit in the video description.
I've waited my whole life for this release! Thank you robotnik!
Ideally, this would be best used on a Windows 95 emulator
Glad to see Sonic Paradox return missed ya animations
maybe sonic paradox is back in animations like back then
This is perfect with the Aqua Teen Hunger Force parody
This is great. Love how robotnik is dressed like cyclops too.
Making this entire skit as an Aqua Teen Hunger Force reference made it that much more hilarious
Now we know what CD means
The guy with a potato pc : "Finally."
Does this work on Windows XP?
Yes! This will work on nearly any version of Windows, including XP. :) Though, you may need to install updates if you try and run this on Windows 95 and 98.
@@DrMackFoxx Perfect.
And now, you've ensured the legacy will go on. One day, someone will find one of these in someone's basement and be brought for viewing eyes once again.
Checkmate, history.
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING‼️😙
15FPS AND 424:240 PIXELS I NEED THIS
Here's my theory on how this came to be, one of the animators was going to visit their grandma, they wanted to show their Grandma the animation they did and when they saw the computer they knew it would not be able to run the video normally, so they made it work for that computer and then said you know what I'm going to do this for all them
My alternative theory is that some of them just really fancy old PCs and their interests have spilled over to the Paradox side.
After all they could've just shown any of the video(s)off a portable platform.
@@tappajaav perhaps they couldn't see the image clear enough on a phone or tablet and the laptop was Dead or something
These are some fun and interesting theories. I think I will let this thread cook for a while and see if anyone comes up with any others, before giving the real answer. :) This should be fun! ^_^
@@DrMackFoxx what do you mean by real answer are you someone who worked on this
@@benogle4951 Yes! I am the director, planner, plus handled the video and audio encoding for the video discs in this project. ^_^ Please consult the bottom sections of the Video Description for the full staff list. :)
I love Sonic Paradox! 💙
Wow, you, uh... You really went ALL OUT for this early April Fool's Day gag.
You sure are creative with April Fools!
I have an old PowerBook G3 Lombard with Mac OS 9 running Windows 98 under Virtual PC 5.0.4. I'll give this a try! :)
Epic to see folks still catering to the Windows 9x crowd!
EDIT: It works!! :)
That is pretty awesome! Thanks for trying this project out on your rather neat setup. ^_^
This is perfect timing I just got a windows 98 & 95 cd. You are a Goat I downloaded all the paradox Sonic Shorts videos to my ipod nano & psp.
Another reason to buy a vintage pc
Kids these days with touch screen technology, to say the least, will never fully understand how lucky they are until they've experienced every previous generation of computers, television, video games, music players etc.
I miss ME edition Windows. Where are my compatible files, so-called "doctor" Robotnik.
Nice
It all exploded at the end due to buffer under run during writing CD.
MY NAME IS...
SONIC ZILLA THE CHILLI DOG KILLA THE BLUE SPEEDSTA WANT THE MIKE I'LL KNOCK IT TO YA
I see a new Sonic Paradox video notification, I smiled 😏.
I love the ATHF reference
It's official: Robotnik is the MCU Cyclops! XD
I got one statement…. I love this and I love you guys!
Yay back to Windows 95!😂
So much epic for sonic this year!! not as good as MARIO THOUGH!! Still very good though 😁😁😁
Can't wait to watch these on my suepr epic cool computer!!!!!!!!!!! Super cool!!!!!!!!!
thst's sounds very impresive for 1995, and tha is a compliment
Never though I was gonna hear: "Gentlemen... behold!" again.
The pure chaos on the classic computer.
sweet free sonic steam game finish it worth it (it like an ace attorney crossover with sonic) now this boo yeah
*downloads file * *opens it *, it's not a rick roll :(
I can't wait to watch Sonic and his friends being fed their dietary recommendations again on Windows 95!
HE'S BACK!!!
Fun fact everyone, this is not a joke :)
WTF IS THIS, FIRST SONIC GETS A MURDER MYSTERY TYPE GAME AND NOW THIS?!?! I like sonic paradox but WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY, I don’t even know a single person that owns a actual pc that (officially) run windows 95
It's A April Fools Prank.
The good news is that this set of 3 video CDs will work on practically any version of Microsoft Windows from Windows 95 all the way to Windows 11. ^_^
Man it's been on long a paradox video came out still golden as ever
This as been perfectly for my setup
It’s not even April fools yet and they post anyway, gotta love em
i actually use Windows 95 normally with modded Wifi cards or ethernet im commenting on windows 95 Right now (Oh yea the max is 240p With fans at max speed)
I have so many questions, but so much appreciation
DR.WEIRD:Gentleman behold!
SOMEONE USED A PARODY OF ME!
A very interesting rom I see! I also do very love the content and the work you haved done for the past years! Keep the speed up!
You know what it's already good enough as an April fools but these days you never know what you can find so i cal totally believe it's an actual thing imagine all this time spent just to end up using windows 95 for some good Sonic Shorts nostalgia XD
With that said congrats for making it this far Sonic Paradox i never thought i'd see a pc screen that isn't flat in 2023 animated or not i couldn't tell if that's what surprises me the most or if it's the fact that durring the XP days i didn't know what a flatscreen is and yet i'm still the same guy
It took me a while to figure it out that this is a parody of Dr. Weird from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
This is legitimately kinda cool
(dial up modem sounds)
Thank you Robotnik very cool
0:14 I immediately got the reference the second I saw his eyes
gentlemen behold corn
Commenting to comment.
Really funny! Love the going ole school
this is so niche and perfect I approve
They actually threw the double sucker punch. bra vo
heh I love these April Fools Pranks, I like them alot more when there true
Keeping with the times, I like it!
This idea is just as ridiculous than the plot of Sonic 06
I don't know why, but now I want to get a Windows 95.
Nice to see you again. ^_^ Thankfully, this project will work on nearly any version of Microsoft Windows from 95 all the way up to Windows 11. :)
😂
No way
April Fools!
u seriously made a mp4 player for your stuff to use on a 90s-2000s OS?
It's even better! Our custom-made player uses an extremely-outdated digital video format from 1992: Microsoft Video 1 [AKA: MS-CRAM], which can also be played back on just about any version of Windows Media Player. Furthermore, this very old video format will actually work on pretty weak computer hardware from 25 years ago, and even older. :)
@@DrMackFoxx bro but why did u do this for a OS like 0.3 percent and -0.1 percent people use as a daily driver
@@keytester2xp339 It works on windows 95 and later up to windows 11, not ONLY windows 95
@@Kwasior i thougnt it worked on 95 to xp and MAYBE vista like some 90s games and apps do
Is this an April fools video? It’s a good video.
Ah! This is not just an April Fools gag, but also a set of 3 fully-functional video CDs, containing nearly all of the major animated projects of Sonic Paradox, that will work on practically any version of Microsoft Windows, from Windows 95 and onward to Windows 11! Furthermore, the videos on these discs were encoded in very old formats to ensure they can be played back on 25+ year old computers and quite weak hardware. :)
AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE REFRENCE 🗣️‼️
Neat
Finally I can watch sonic paradox on even more systems
So this is what you guys have been busy with in the past months!
Happy April 1st
Can't wait to try it on my 166mhz Pentium. Thanks SP !
This channel was made 2 days before I was born
We had a 486x for win 95. 😂 lol
that's crazy
It's fine we use these PCs at my work
Dr.Weird from robot chicken
Omg I always needed this thx
1:36 (DUN!)
I'm so confused
Thank you sonic paradox
I don't have my win 95 PC anymore but I still have a win XP one somewhere, I'd be kinda tempted to look for it if it wasn't because I know for a fact that its CD drive is dead.
YES! Thank you!
Ad for windows 95
I've been waiting for a new video, and this is what I get 😅
GUYS HE IS ALIVE.
