Hey Speed, Thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment. I should have the first monster video out tomorrow and I will start rolling through them!
This is a great video. I just got my copy of the game and started with Vaerix. I bought all the paints you use and followed step by step. I think this will turn out to be my best mini so far and I'll be following your tutorials for all the other characters and monsters you paint. Thanks and well done!
Hi NK!. You are quite welcome. It's my pleasure! :) Great video as always. :) So happy to see "my" character in the game, painted. It was a bit hard to see the details, since it looks like the video is locked at 360P. I should be receiving all my paints and brushes, in the beginning of next week. I will then be following your helpful guides, so i too can have great looking minis, for next board game night. :D Sadly i will not be using an airbrush, at least not in the beginning. It's a bit pricey, when buying 68 colors/contrasts, brushes, etc, at one time. But it is an start ;) Happy painting.
Hey NV I’ve been messing around with the video resolution and they last two have been terrible. I will be going back to the HD 1080 video. The quality is just garbage with the higher resolution. I upgraded my camera and I’m trying to maximize the 4K but it doesn’t seem to be working very well. Either or I am glad you are getting all of your paints and brushes in. Time to paint some minis. Have fun and I’ll see you on the next video.
Here is the one I use, amzn.to/38nl794 It might be a little expensive up front but I have been using it for years without any problem. You might be able to find it cheaper on other websites but this one is worth it. I also recommend a Hyper Sonic Cleaner amzn.to/43Lr7nw You can use your airbrush then just it put it in there to clean it. It gets all the paint off and saves you the time of scrubbing down your airbrush every time. It's something I wish I had invested in earlier. Hopefully that helps.

Hi, your videos are great and very helpfull. I want to ask You do we really need Pearl Medium for mixing Vaerix skin or we just need medium for slow drying. Im new in painting that why Im asking. You give link to Pearlescent Medium but I dont think Vaerix need pearl scales or skin.
Nice work again. Just got the game and looking forward to painting these, great detail. Did your minis come with gaps, kind of like reverse mold lines? A bunch of mine did, Galaden has one right across the shoulder on the skin side
Hey Brad, surprisingly they didn’t have a lot of gaps in the miniatures. I must have lucked out on my set. I typically use green stuff to fill gaps if need be though.
@@nerdknights1122 yeah, I got all the rejects from your set 😝 I have a bunch with the gaps, 4 of the 6 mains have it plus some of the enemies I’ve looked at. Never used green stuff, will give it a look

Thanks Galahax, appreciate the view and leaving a comment. I have so many it is insane. Here are a couple: Etherfields, Aeon Trespass: Odyssey, Oathsworn, Stormsunder, Tanares Adventures, Frosthaven, Sheol, Hel: Last Saga, Massive Darkness 2, Heroquest, etc. The list goes on. Is there one you are specifically wanting a tutorial for?
@@nerdknights1122 lol, that IS a list. Looks a lot like mine, haha. Oath, Storm, Tanares but I just got in on this last one, Frost, Hel, HQ to name the ones you did. Erune is one I THINK is supposed to be landing next, if not HQ since they claim end of October shipping
I love your Videos and here is some extra love four your cat! :)
Hey Matthias thanks for watching. That cat always seems to find a way into the videos for some reason. Thanks for the support. Paint on!
¡Gracias!
Thank you so much. You're amazing!
After saw ur video i went to shop and buy paints. Awesome work. Waiting for all monster figures as well.

Excellent work! I will follow your videos for my paintings. Do you intend to make guides for enemies too?
Hey Danilo, thank you for checking out my channel and watching the video. I will be doing all of the enemies as well for Descent.
could you reccommend a decent beginner air brush set? I bought one for around $50-60 and it barely functioned ...

Hi! What are the size of brushes that you use ? And what brand do you use ?:)
I use rosemary and Co. brushes. Specifically the size one brush. If you check in the description of that video I have a link to the ones I use

Any type of medium will work if you even want to use it. It’s not a necessity, just something I did for the miniature. Thank you Damian for watching!
@@nerdknights1122 Thanks for replay. I bought medium and now I'm waiting for paints so soon I'll try Your technic... for me new one ;)
