I have not been adding a wetting agent in my garden the yucca seems like a great product and makes sense to use them during the bug prevention spray too. really helpful tips. Your video's have helped make sense of foliar feeding also helping to put together a foliar feeding schedule for 2018 grow season. Can't wait to try more products in a foliar feed the bloom kaos and trigger works like a great partnership in my few experiences using the koas you can really see a difference the next morning. Looks like i need a few more products to make sure i have what they need thanks again for providing the information

I use yucca religiously, basically any time I water and often when I foliar too.
Thing is I just use organic yucca powder. It takes a sec to dissolve into the water, but one thing I’ve discovered is that since I usually have some water bubbling for a feed anyway, I throw in some yucca and let the bubbles dissolve it for my foliar..easy peasy.
But anyway, since I”ve made it a habit of using it, I’ve noticed that I don’t get weird dead zones or sudden waterfalls out of my smartpots like I used to. Those pots can dry out so fast I think I was getting little umbrella pockets....not a single one for months now. Also when you use yucca you don’t have to do that little first watering followed by waiting and waiting and more watering and all that whole circus. Now I just do a first watering followed by just walking back to the bucket for more water....it’s so easy with yucca.
Also supposedly yucca and its primary active ingredients saponins have their own plant value, besides just being a wetting agent. But I definitely haven’t had time to research that....for the moment I take it as a two for one package deal, know what I mean.
    Thanks for these vids!

After hearing about adding the yucca to a pesticide like neem or dr. Bronners. I am looking forward to hear about a good ipm. I have not really put together a prevention plan for spider mites that would be great to hear more about a product that can be sprayed weekly. You always hear about the sprays for veg but you dont want to spray on the colas from what i have heard i am reduced to washing the plants with a garden hose during flower. Im still learning but bug prevention is a topic i would like to learn more about. Thanks again Bob and OCGFAM

Great information and growing tip. We’ve used surfactants for years in commercial agriculture and Horticulture to increase effectiveness of various chemicals and nutrients.

John Korns I was a Nurseryman for years. No better spreader sticker than Dawn Dishwashing detergent.
      Cheap too.

As a retired Nurseryman, and grower since 1971, there is no better wetting agent (we called in “spreader sticker” in Ag) , than a little bit of Dawn Dishwashing Liquid. I use it in everything I spray. Insecticides to herbicides. And a little goes a long way. Save some money!

yup use yucca for foliar and and watering/feeding. helps so you don't get dry pockets, and since water always takes the path of least resistance yucca helps so you don't get salt pockets when the soil dries between waterings.

If you go a little to heavy in the yucca will it leave a whit crust on the leaf? Or can Zeus Juice do that. I know the Zeus juice is extremely dark so I think the yucca might have done this! Don’t get me wrong! It’s awesome stuff! I love it

Anything i bubble any foliar everything i put yucca in. Also scott talked about bennifical bacteria love surfactants like yucca so in my water mix i add a little right before watering. Do it to early looks like you put dish soap in a bubble bath dont want that. It can be a mess bubbles overflowing in your reservoir. Take care everone.

How about using a yucca wetting agent with sulfur for Brevipalpus mites ? They’re tiny like russet mites and sulfur is one of the few effective Miticides for them . But wettable sulfur just spots up the leaves . I’m gonna try Yucca Wet with it and see how it goes . Thank you 😊

hey Bob. Should I be doing pest management through out my grow even if I'm not seeing any bugs? And if so what would you recommend?

Does ph matter when it comes to foliar mixtures? What is the ideal temperature range, of the foliar solution to be sprayed? Lights on or off? Thanks Bob and Tim

Ok I’m a lil confused now I’ve still got my feeding schedule from the sample box an in that it plainly says you can mix Bloom Khaos with poseidonzime and hygeia hydration but nothing else now this dude says your not to mix the hygeia with your Bloom Khaos when you using as a foliar feeding so who’s correct then cause all this did is make me question everything I’ve read an it’s from those that make nectar. 🤔 update I reread the paragraph under feeding suggestion that came with the sample box it’s bioag full-on An poseidonzime that they say you can mix Bloom Khaos with but I’m still confused cause he said ya shouldn’t mix it with anything at all I’ve actually have mixed it with hygeia before didn’t notice a difference either way but if he’s saying ya shouldn’t I wouldn’t experiment to much with it as there has to be a reason

In one of Scott's Ostrander videos I remember him saying specifically NOT to mix Hygeia Hydration with Bloom Kaose. Something with how the yucca interacts with nutrients. The yucca forms a "bubble" around the nutrients and sticks to the leafs allowing for slow absorption to the plant. The reason we dont use yucca with BK is that the proprietary ingredient BK, the one that makes BK so amazing is intended to be absorbed as quickly as possible into the leaf. So to recap Hygeia Hydration= "time release" Great to add to any nutrient EXCEPT BK because the plant wants it now!

I've heard that using wetting agents containing sugars (in this case yucca) can be bad since the sugars can act as a food source for diseases like powder mildew. Thoughts?
