L4D2 Confederacy Of Crunches achievement

To get this achievement, all one needs to do is to simply finish a campaign never once firing a bullet and only using melee weapons.
What the achievement doesn't tell you is that you can use turrets and grenades(These are pipe bombs, mollotovs and bile viles). BUT, do not fire your weapon while incapacitated, as it cancels out the achievement. Things to note in this video:
1) I did speed it up due to it being 26 mins long and i doubt anyone wants to watch that
2) I didn't edit any of it to shorten it more in case someone wants to see it from beginning to end.
3) Throughout the video you will see the awesomeness that is L4D2 AI. That being slow to react when a jockey jumps on you, or entering the safe room, being really slow and really behind and slow to react. This is something Valve can fix, but they haven't.

Remember kids, you can't fire ANY weapon. This includes your pistol if you are downed. If you DO fire, you must restart the entire campaign. Items like bile bombs and the like are totally fine however.

Ugh, I played through the parish campaign but at one point I was incapacitated and fired I didn't know until now that it negated the achievement.

the most success ive had is not picking up any main gun i just keep with the katana or the cricket bat but as soon as i get the frying pan i go to town on them chargers....nothing like delivering a punishment you recieved when u were a kid.

Nice, only few things i'll add:
-You CAN use pipes, mollys, bile.
-You may shoot zombies while you're down, but not kill them. So if you accidentally fire and hit one, don't freak out.

using a chainsaw is risky, since once it's run out of gas, you'll get a pistol. and since the chainsaw runs out of gas during the action, you most probably will fire the pistol...

you should have done it with a group of 4 and all use melee or kill ur AI buddies so when tank comes u can get the Tank Burger achievement lol
