@ I just think if they got together once Ste recovers,they could be a really good couple.If the writers would show them working together to tackle difficult issues.But this is Hollyoaks so that wouldn’t happen.

I am going to make voodoo dolls of the screen writers and the producers for what they did to Dillon and Lucas. Just one, all I wanted was one cute happy couple and what we got was another toxic mess. At this point it's more cheerful to watch the news than Hollyoaks and that's saying something.
I think that's the main charm of Hollyoaks, a intense drama with very questionable writing. If you want happy couples, you should watch american/australian soaps instead of the british ones.
@@hannariel I don't need all sunshine and rainbows, I understand drama is needed to keep the show alive and interesting.... but not every single character needs to be a cloud of doom and gloom all the damn time. There's what, 40 ish characters in HO and every single one is a miserable and suffering at the moment. Having a bit of cheer won't kill the show. As for your suggestion; I watched McLeod's, their happy couples were far and few between and judging by Digital spy the other aussie soaps are just the same. And I just can't with american shows, I absolutely hate their humor and stereotyping. British soaps at least are funny every now and again.
