Ayla (canon shilka oc)

this is my new shilka oc, Ayla.

Want to know something about her backstory? well it's quite a lot snd maybe you won't understand everything, but here it is:
Ayla was born at the very beginning of the war in the Broken World, soon after King Noalis was killed. Normaly, Shilkas with wings die at birth. In this case however, Ayla's mother was the one who died, because of her daughter's size, so her father took care of her. After he had seen how Daya was kind of "worshiped" because of her wings, he was really scared, that something like that would happen to his daughter and she would be taken away from him, so he decided to hide her wings from the other Shilkas by letting Ayla wear a cloak over them whenever she was seen. He also wanted her to never get involved in the war. Often Shilka children were hidden in bunks with Power Guardian spells on them to protect them during the war, but Ayla's father hid his daughter in his own house instead, because firstly he thought it would be safer for her to be nearly completely unknown and secondly he feared, that someone would discover, she had wings, despite her cloak, if she'd be with other Shilkas for a longer time. Since Ayla's father had allready lost his best friend in the first few days of the war and since Ayla was all he had left from his wife, he did everything he could to protect her. But he still went to war to fight for the Shunas and their survival, so Ayla was left alone in her father's house most of the time, though he came back as often as possible to see if she was allright. (She wasn't allways just in the house though. Sometimes her father went out with her to walk through the forest, when he had the time, but he allways made sure no one would see them.) For Ayla that was normal life and though she did sometimes feel lonely, she never thought of the option to live differently. She learned alot of things, she could do alone and had fun with that.
When the Tali was activated nearly a year after Ayla's birth, she and her father, like most Shilkas, left the broken world. Though her father still hid her well from the others, that was the first time that Ayla saw so many Shilkas together. She had allready seen two to three other Shilkas, except of her father, before, but she hadn't imagined how many there really were. That was the first time, Ayla asked herself, if her past life could've gone differently.
In the World of Viri, they went with the Shilkas, that grounded the Kingdom of Kanti. Ayla planted her tree hidden from the Kingdom, but still near it, like her father had told her, because he was still afraid, that the war would somehow go on. From that time on, Ayla went more and more in the forests. She likes the trees and to explore new areas. She also began to watch the other Shilkas, who lived in the new kingdom, wich she never did before. She found it very interesting to see what they were doing all day and what they were talking about. She also recognized, that no other Shilka had wings like her and thought, that maybe this could've been the reason, her father allways told her to hide them.
A few weeks after their arrival, Ayla's father allowed her to come with him in the city, where all the other Shilkas lived, the first time, since the war was defenetly over and he was the oppinion, that it'd be good for her to meet other Shilka children, but he still allways reminded her of wearing her cloak and to hide her wings. Though nealy no one had ever seen Ayla before, she was accepted soon and there weren't asked many questions. Ayla could visit the city now any time she wanted, as long as she wore her cloak, but she still spent more time in the forest.
Every day she removed the scrap from her tree, that she hadplanted in the middle of it, surrounded by other trees. Her father had never told her, she would die if she wouldn't remove her scrap, but she heared that story a few times from other Shilkas. She also got to know about Wihallew's experiments and how she sparkle and was not dieing.
When Ayla turned 13, she got build a house for her next to her tree in the forest and as the left te house of her father, she decided to try and leave her scrap on the tree too, because Wihallew was still perfectly alive and she had never really feared to die becausd of it. Though she had heared the stories about it, it was still just a story for her, nothing she'd really believe and Wihallew was the living prove for it. When she moved to her new house, she began to learn about all the different plants (especially trees) and animals, that lived around her and saw her father less often. She didn't remove her scrap anymore and after a few weeks she slso begann to sparkle. She wasn't sure, but she also felt better than before, healthier. Ayla didn't use her magic in any way though. She wasn't even sure, she had magic, but she never removed her scrap again.
