    Teresias is performed by Sir John Gielgud. Many people consider him one of the best two or three Shakespearean actors of the 20th century and also consider him the best at speaking Shakespearean verse.

    is so ironic that the blind man can see the truth and Oedipus that has good healthy eyes cant see it. All the prophecies of teresias will come true
