You've progressed so much since your first laps on a track! I'm happy you're sticking with it. Keep it all fun and ride in your comfort zone, as long as you're having fun that's what it's all about. And nice whips from the guys over that triple, so steezy.
Thanks! Will forward that to him. Have to say for the extra $25 it was beyond worth if to be part of a private session of like 30 ish people compared to the 300 that would normally be there, way less intimidating and less being roosted/landed on.
Great job man, you have bigger balls than most people just attempting to ride at Baja. I just rode at my first track June 25th, which was Supercoops MX. I would definitely recommend hitting up Morelands MX to get comfortable hitting jumps and actually riding on dirt. Supercoops, Sandbox and Baja are like riding at the beach. Keep posting videos man, I'm slow af and still post them because I like to see my progression over the weeks/months.
Yea going there during open practice is nuts, there's weekend when they have 300 people, there'll be foot deep ruts in the corners. One of the hardest tracks in Michigan for sure.
Post that on any forum and people argue. I use the clutch in my other videos and people yell at me and say I shouldn't be shifting with the clutch once I'm moving, then I do this and go against my head to not use the clutch to make those people happy, and then other people tell me to use it! I honestly dont know, seems like every person has a different answer. Related to the clutch being used or not my shifter broke this day so I am using the clutch every time from now on regardless of what comments say.
+That White Guy I don't know one top rider in amateur or pros that use there clutch so say don't use it and don't listen to the backyard riders who say to use it.
Everyone has a different opinion I honestly dont know. I had a thingy break today not using it and maybe thats a bad omen. Taking the bike in to a shop hopefully tomorrow, if the gears are all still perfectly fine I wont use it, if not I will always
it comes down to how you do it, if you shift with no load on (let off the throttle) it's no different than shifting with the clutch because no matter what the gears slam into each other while moving, it's just how the transmission works. pro riders dont even let off the throttle to shift, but they blow transmissions and have a new one for every race.
+Get Clapped I've raced for 9 years now I've raced nationals I've been to all over the country for racing and never have I ever once in my life used the clutch when I shifted and my bikes are fine and I get it if your shifting and not going wide open but at the same time then you shouldn't be shifting.
People said the track was shit but I honestly do not know what is good and what is bad for a track, felt good to me being a private session, if I didn't break the bike I probably would have hit a couple of the table tops.
***** Baja is a great track,,, Everyone has different preferances though, I love Baja. Have you tried Martin Mx?? Thats the best one there is here in Mi
THAT GUY ELI By track was shit I mean that I was told conditions were not good, which I don't have any clue what good or bad for that is. I think it is a fun track but above my head a lot.
***** yeah... Baja is an insane track, definatly not for beginners. I have a hard time there too. And the breaking/Excellerating bumps are pretty bad in the video. So yeah that was a really shitty day there
I mean if you are super new to this and suck like I do I might spend more time at tracks like Freelin/Supercoop/probably Sandbox where there are less people and not super "poppy" stuff, like the stuff here looks like a skyscraper from the parking lot for lack of a better word. Or start here and roll most of the jumps and get yelled at in comments haha
Lol yeah don't go out of your comfort zone I mean it didn't look like there that bad but I bet when your actually coming up on it its a lot more than what u thought it was
+That White Guy Milan mx I went there on my new kx 85 and it was really fun and I can judge the bike better so Milan is better with people who are just starting
a lot of these people piss me off reading the comments, if you don't know comfort zones you don't know motocross. hell watch deeos vids he doesn't push himself to do a lot of laps even though he could, he does what is in his comfort zone.i bet your could hit those jumps but right now your just getting comfortable which people need to realize.....
I just don't want to die. Heard stories about this track and I would rather roll a jump than ride over my skill level and have a very high chance of crashing right into the ER
I really don't think you understand how big this track is. Super easy to say this from your arm chair... Some of those are probably taller than your house. And I am literally just starting. People have died at this track riding above their head.
First time being at baja and hearing stories about it. I was not about to be sending anything at my skill level. HurrenMX said his dads friend was paralyzed last spring, he's seen people medic helicoptered out of the track multiple times, and apparently someone died there. So no I am not going to try to ride above my skill level and end up in a hospital.
This is not your back yard track. The jumps are bigger than your house. and I am in fact mentally defective when it comes to track riding. Also, I don't like spending time in hospitals, so I'm not going to ride above my skill level and die. Seriously. You do not understand how big these jumps are, look at the biggest thing on your backyard track, stack 6-10 of those ontop of eachother and maybe thats a good scale.

Nice, keep it up and find your comfort zone and you will be flying over them jumps like its nothing👍🏻
Do you do all of the shifting without the clutch? I don't know if it's obvious but couldn't that damage the engine after a long time?

Getting better 👍🏼
how do you like Baja? It gets really sandy at times too
People said the track was shit but I honestly do not know what is good and what is bad for a track, felt good to me being a private session, if I didn't break the bike I probably would have hit a couple of the table tops.

+That White Guy Milan mx I went there on my new kx 85 and it was really fun and I can judge the bike better so Milan is better with people who are just starting
My friend Collin deems passed you right in the beginning

Exactly and that's what good riders do, it's not about being a superstar it's all about enjoyment
and lets see that other footage!
Yes i want to see more
Hit jumps man
I really don't think you understand how big this track is. Super easy to say this from your arm chair... Some of those are probably taller than your house. And I am literally just starting. People have died at this track riding above their head.
send it like you do in mx vs atv bro!
Tips- elbows up! And stand up more over grip your throttle
dang this track is more dry than Blake baggets hair line😯 well at least some parts of it.
They watered it later in the day. The video is uploading now.
+That White Guy still let's just not forget about Blake baggets hairline though I feel like this is a needed discussion
Dm Moon Lmao!
and I tried to ride this on a 110
when I saw this it was 350 views and 35 likes, lol
Ive been riding there for years and im still trash😂
I have rode tracks 3 times and am still bad at it lol.
Ride with deeo
You realize he is around 1400 miles away from me right
You need to change gears
Hit the jumps faster
it was his first laps, and it already happened. and let him ride how he feels comfortable. he just rode his first track ever a month ago.
First time being at baja and hearing stories about it. I was not about to be sending anything at my skill level. HurrenMX said his dads friend was paralyzed last spring, he's seen people medic helicoptered out of the track multiple times, and apparently someone died there. Dude come on I'm not to be a jerk or anything but hit the jumps man
This is not your back yard track. The jumps are bigger than your house.

You are absolutely right Mr. White Guy, Take your time!
+That White Guy listen I'm no trying to be a jerk but I ride 85 2 strokes faster on the same sized jumps, and most of these jumps I clear
+That White Guy again no being mean or anything but as a subscriber to you its not that inter tanning. This is more feedback than criticism
+WheelRider 294 FYI I'm not talking about the track in my yard
I would rather watch DeeO
So why don't you! He has new videos up!
Don't show ur first laps that was so boring
How about you shut up and let white guy run his channel how he wants. We don't care about your opinion.
+Kawi Life so ur saying u like watching a video of someone ride in 1st gear on a track
If you don't like it, either don't watch it or leave. Nobody is forcing you to be here.
*ROASTED* (in the nicest possible way haha)
exactly, don't watch it then.
