Madonna del Ghisallo: Riding the Tour of Lombardy Classic Climb

- The Madonna del Ghisallo is the jewel in the crown of Il Lombardia Monument race having featured in all but one edition of the autumn classic.
With the summit coming at more than 50km the finish, seldom does the climb see race winning moves. However, because of a special chapel at the top dedicated to cyclists, it is a spot that has become a natural pilgrimage point for cyclists across the entire world.

I was up there with my randonneur - but without luggage - with Claudio: A fantastic torture! Unbelievable!
Well... my randonneur weighs 15.2 kg - but I don't have hip rings like Cyclist. The cheapest way to save weight is on your own body ;-))
