National company HRO 500 7 V & 5 V regulated critical for proper spectrum generator output at mixer

UPDATE:
Yes the 7.5 and 5 volt power supplies are critical.
But this DEMO of the Spectrum Burst Generator was WRONG.
In that if you watch later videos I posted - this Spectrum Generator had multiple
small shorts and wiring problems from bad solder joints and wires too close to each other
and capacitors pushed too far down. And the 500 Khz capacitor tabs too close to the chassis frame.
Once all this is corrected then useful to watch newer videos on Spectrum Generator
testing.
I did also replace the two NPN transistors with SILICON transistors and this
SEEMS to give a better lock.
I do everything measuring if I can LOCK or not across a band.
