Actually even if they did a reboot then in 2006 it would have worked, Katherine Helmond was still alive. Now there would be no Mona and Sam is even older than Tony and Angela when the show ended but I'll still support it if Tony and Angela are married, it would really be devastating if they're not. Yes, the show was about the family unit but let's face it, it was the chemistry of these two actors that made that show, without them the show wouldn't have been as popular, the original viewers had vested interest in Tony and Angela and getting them together and they let us down by giving us a Sam wedding instead which wasn't even that good, so I can't see them not being together and married all these years after that last scene where Tony comes back to Angela because he basically couldn't live without her. That's my take on it and I bet I'm not alone on that viewpoint.
